Chisora has shown an excellent chin in withstanding huge shots from big heavyweights Tyson Fury, Robert Helenius and Vitali Klitschko without ever getting knocked out or even knocked down.

The only fighter of the threat that hurt him was Helenius, who briefly stunned Chisora after hitting him square with a monstrous right hand early in their fight. Chisora backed off, but Helenius couldn’t take advantage of it because he didn’t grasp the fact that Chisora was badly hurt.

Haye is a different kind of fighter compared to Vitali, Helenius and Fury. He’s much faster for one, and he tends to fight with a lot more explosive energy. When Haye hits you, he follows up with additional shots and he can you out of there in a big hurry if he flurries. Chisora hasn’t faced anyone with that kind of power, speed or explosiveness, and you just don’t know what to expect from him.

Chisora is one of those fighters that needs to fight in a slow and deliberate manner where he sets up his offense after working his way inside. Chisora squares himself up against his opponents and likes to throw to the body and head. It worked for him against Helenius and Vitali, because neither of those guys had any power on the inside and they moved slowly around the ring.

It didn’t work against Fury, because he was light on his feet, and he never gave Chisora an opportunity to set up his offense. Fury basically toyed with Chisora the full 12 rounds, and treated him like an out of shape sparring partner, which was kind of what Chisora was. He was terrible physical condition and should have never taken the fight to begin with in that kind of shape.
