This is truly a fight where you kind of don’t know who to pick, because both guys are missing a couple of gears in their game and you can’t pick one guy over the other because of that. Bellew punches harder, but not that much harder. McIntosh seems to be a natural born killer in the ring and doesn’t shy away from contact.

In contrast, Bellew hasn’t looked the same since being dropped twice by Ovil McKenzie in December 2010. That fight appears to have burned a painful memory in Bellew’s mind because he no longer looks fearless. He now fights off the back foot, ready to retreat when his opponent brings the fight to him in any serious way.

McIntosh said to Sky Sports News “This fight is going to lead onto big, big things when I beat Tony better than Cleverly did. That was a very close fight; this fight is not going to be so close.”

I agree with McIntosh. I believe he’s going to end up dominating a timid Bellew by taking the fight to him and forcing the rabbit in Bellew to rear it’s ugly head once again. if you thought former WBA heavyweight champion David Haye did a running job in his fights against Wladimir Klitschko and Nikolay Valuev, just wait and see how much running Bellew does when he starts tasting some of McIntosh’s big power. I see Bellew running and giving the fight away. You can’t give a fight to a guy that runs and doesn’t initiate. That’s why I’m going with McIntosh as my pick for Friday night. He’s got the power and the strong will to win.
