(Photo credit: KMG/Dmitriy Abramov) By Scott Gilfoid: Tonight in Munich, Germany, British heavyweight Dereck Chisora (15-2, 9 KO’s) will be taking a severe beating at the hands of WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (43-2, 40 KO’s) in front of what will likely be a sold out 14,000 seat arena. I’m going to be laughing tonight at this slaughter and enjoying every last second.

Chisora really stepped in on Friday during the weigh-in when he decided it was a good idea to slap Vitali across the face. Chisora got away with the slap but will be repaid tenfold by Vitali tonight, and will likely be kicking himself for not cringing and groveling during the weigh-in instead of playing tough guy. Had Chisora kissed Vitali’s backside over and over again, he might have been lucky enough for Vitali to treat the fight like a 12 round sparring session instead of a seek and destroy mission like he’s going to be doing tonight.

Chisora could have slathered on the compliments and made Vitali feel sorry for him. And then when the fight came tonight, he could have did the old touching gloves bit at the start and the end of each round to make him think he was his friend. But it won’t be like that now, because Chisora had to play bad Brit and slap Vitali.

I see this fight as a basic slaughter from A to B. We got a guy that shouldn’t be sharing the ring with Vitali in the first place being thrust into the limelight off of a loss to Robert Helenius. Chisora lost and shouldn’t be in the ring with Vitali. Helenius had a torn up right shoulder and a damaged right hand in that fight and wasn’t in top form. Chisora fought well enough to lose to a one-armed fighter, and now he’s facing Vitali tonight.

Yep, this is a going to be a slaughter. I was hoping that Vitali would have mercy on Chisora and take it easy on him. But since he had to act like a thug at the weigh-in with his slap and his Brit mask he was wearing, I hope Vitali puts him out of his misery as fast as possible to clear the ring of him and send him back to the UK lickity split.
