This will be the toughest fight for the 30-year-old Arreola since he was beaten by Tomasz Adamek by a 12 round decision in April 2010. Arreola and his promoters have been taking the safe approach since that loss by facing weak opposition to get Arreola back into another title fight without taking any risks. Molina, 6’5″, will be a risk simply because Arreola has been rusting being put in with terrible opposition while Molina is an up and coming heavyweight that has talent close to if not identical to Adamek.

This heavyweight can do a lot of the same things that Adamek did to Arreola and can certainly pull an upset tomorrow night. Arreola needs this win badly because he wants another world title shot against one of the Klitschko brothers.

What Molina has going against him in this fight is his lack of experience against quality opposition. His best opponent during his career is Warren Browning and that’s not too good. Molina will be taking a big jump up in competition without the benefit of prior experience against any 1st tier opposition.

It’s not exactly a wise move from the looks of it, but when your stuck at the #10 spot and only ranked by one sanctioning body, then you’ve got to take some chances. Molina does have respectable power but he’s going to have to show some movement if he doesn’t want to get run down because he’s not going to be able to beat Arreola by standing in front of him. Arreola is vulnerable against guys that move and hit, as we saw in his losses to Vitali Klitschko and Adamek.
