If Fury wins the fight, Steward says Wladimir probably won’t be fighting Fury. Steward sees the still very gree Fury moving ahead picking up more experience to improve slowly. Steward is giving Fury the edge over Chisora in their match-up.

There really isn’t anyone out there in the heavyweight division that can give Wladimir a serious challenge, Steward says. He’s stunned by how few heavyweights are out there that Wladimir will have any problems with. For example, two Wladimir victims Tony Thompson and Eddie Chambers are about to fight in an IBF eliminator bout to determine a mandatory challenger for Wladimir. And the thing is, Wladimir easily beat both of them and now one of them is going to be coming around again for a second helping.

Steward sees 6’6″ heavyweight contender Robert Helenius sees hims as a good challenger for Wladimir to fight, but Steward thinks that fight would have to take place in Europe because it wouldn’t be a marketable fight in the United States because only hardcore boxing fans have heard of Helenius at this point in his career.

Steward didn’t mention Wladimir fighting a rematch against David Haye, perhaps because of how disgusted Steward was in Haye’s performance during the fight and the way he carried himself before and after the fight with trash talking and excuses.
