By Allen Hmiel: The British David Haye the WBA heavyweight belt holder is doing to the Klitchko brothers exactly what the young brash Cassius Clay(Muhammed Ali) did to torment and taunt Sonny Liston 47 some years ago. Haye has been brilliant in his public elusive campaign of humiliating and teasing both of the Klitchkos at every opportunity. Haye is being quite effective with his quick wit and insulting comments directed very pointedly at both Wladimir and Vitali the other heavyweight belt holders.

As Clay provoked the seemingly invincible Liston at every opportunity goading and insulting the quiet fearsome champion we are getting another look at today’s version of the glib tongue of David Haye. Haye has been been brilliant in his verbal assault on the heritage, nationality, bravery and boxing skills of the Klitchkos. Haye is mocking, ridiculing and insulting the Klitchkos in proportions not seen since the great Cassius/Ali did it almost 5 decades ago. And Haye is doing it quite well and getting the expected results. Both of the Klitchkos are ready to destroy the brash trash talking David Haye at their earliest opportunity. Either brother would welcome the opportunity to smash shut forever the comical arrogant Englishman’s mouth.

Haye has won the prefight insults and mockery game going away. If there was a champion of the quick retort or goading insult Haye would have captured all the belts. And on fight night whenever it may be and against either of the brothers as they are basically interchangeable parts Haye will stun the world. As Clay/Ali stunned the bewildered older Liston with his dazzling speed and punching power, David Haye will stun either Klitchko he fights, probably Wladimir with quick hands and elusiveness reminiscent of the great Ali. Probably Knocking Out the lumbering slower older bewildered frustrated Klitchko in stunning fashion. Thus shocking the boxing world.

Liston was so frustrated at destroying Clay/Ali in 1964 he lost sense of reason and boxing strategy. Haye will have frustrated the Klitchkos on fight night to the point all they want to do is kill the fast talking insulting Brit. Playing right into the strategy of the boxing intelligence of David Haye. Haye will be calm cool and collected and ready for the wild onslaught and charges of an irate opponent. Haye will tag and connect solidly on a wildly swinging Wladimir and drop him for the count. The war of words and insults levied by Haye will enable David to win the belts from a stunned bewildered opponent fueled by anger and hate. Watch what happens on fight night, but Haye is already punching and winning the fight with the insults and one liners. “Hail Hail to David Haye the British version of Cassius Clay.”
