While this isn’t HBO, Showtime or ESPN, there are a lot of Americans that get the Epix channel, so it’s great that the fight will be shown by this channel. The fight will be taking place at the Lanxess-Arena, Cologne, Nordrhein-Westfalen, in Germany. Klitschko, 39, is a huge favorite due to his size, experience and talent. Solis is Vitali’s number #1 challenger, but the Cuban has failed to beat anyone of note during his four-year pro career and seems to be regressing rather than improving as he puts on more and more weight seemingly with each outing.

At this point, Solis seemed like a much better fighter when he first turned pro in 2007 compared to the way he’s been looking lately. Unless I miss my guess, this fight is going to be a one-sided fight along the same lines as Klitschko’s win over previously unbeaten Kevin Johnson in December 2009.

Solis has beat everyone put in front of him as a pro, but his management hasn’t been eager to put him in with anyone even remotely capable of beating him. He’s been put in with guys like Monte Barrett, Carl Davis Drumond and Ray Austin, among others, but no one with any real talent that could test him. Solis is going to be taking a stratospheric leap up in talent on March 19th and I expect it to be much too difficult for him to handle.
