Mayweather beats Pacquiao

Image: Mayweather beats PacquiaoBy John Kerrigan: Right now, Floyd Mayweather Jr. (41-0, 25 KO’s) is unbeatable. He does not panic when he gets tagged as in the Mosley fight. His experience and self-belief are there for all to see.

I believe that Mayweather is better than Manny Pacquiao in all areas of technique.

Firstly, Mayweather is faster. We all know that speed kills. Look at what Mayweather did to Shane Mosley. Mayweather’s speed made Mosley look ordinary and stopped him from fighting. Now there are those who say Pacquiao is faster. However, this is not the case. The truth is that Pacquiao is fast for the first 3-4 rounds, and then his opponents start to tire so it makes Pacquiao look faster that usual.

Secondly, Mayweather’s jab is unequaled! Venomous like a snake, it is his strongest weapon. Some people believe Pacquiao to have a better jab. In actual fact, Pacquiao has no jab. He hits hot air to try and gain maximum leverage for his straight left.

Thirdly, Mayweather’s chin is better. You disagree? I ask you…. Who would you rather fight against? Mayweather or Pacquiao? You know sooner or later that you would hit Pacquiao and have a chance of victory. However, against Mayweather, you simply would not be able to connect and he would embarrass you. A majority of people believe Pacquiao to have the better chin, why? Is it because he is hit so often that he is used to it? Once again, this is far from true. In my view, the shot that Mosley hit Mayweather with would have knocked out Pacquiao and yet it merely stunned Mayweather.

Another factor for Mayweather is that he is bigger and he is at his peak and unfortunately, this spells trouble for the little Filipino. Mayweather has too much experience and his destruction of Marquez and Mosley just shows what he has waiting in store for Pacquiao. It has been said that Pacquiao is also at his peak and people connect this by his annihilation of his last four opponents. However, this is far from true; Pacquiao’s last couple of opponents were tailor made to showcase his strength against slow unintelligent fighters.

I am convinced that Mayweather beats Pacquiao easily in a one-sided fight by unanimous decision, or Pacquaio’s corner throws in the towel and saves their fighter from a terrible beating.
