Dirrell Dominates the Fight, Stops Findley in 6 Rounds!

dirrell352423By Sam Gregory: In the main event undefeated southpaw Andre Dirrell who is going into tonight’s fight with a record of 17 wins, 12 by KO and no loses, faces Derrick “Superman” Findley with a record of 13 wins with 2 loses and 8 KO’s in a scheduled 10 round bout in the super middleweight division.

The first round of this fight started as a feeling out round for both men; Dirrell landed a left hook that hurt Finley who lay on the ropes for the last seconds of the round eating punches.

Round 2 Dirrell clearly in control taking his time picking his shots. Two left hands rock Findley as Dirrell landing shots at will. At the end of the round Findley looked beat. Dirrell threw punches from southpaw and orthodox stance.

Round 3 Dirrell is toying with Findley as he walks around picking his shots. Findley is following Dirrell around the ring but is not able to land a punch; Findley slips and falls in this round.

Round 4 starts with more of the same; Findley is standing square walking into Dirrell’s punches. Dirrell rocked Findley with a left uppercut that he walked right into. In the last seconds of the round Dirrell lands a couple more good body shots to close out the round.

Round 5 Dirrell lands good body shot, Findley ties up. Dirrell throwing jabs put the pace of the fight has slowed with very little action; it’s a very one-sided fight.

Round 6 Findley following Dirrell around the ring; Findley throws some combinations but they’re all blocked. Dirrell is firing jabs and combinations without getting countered by his opponent.

After round 6 Findley’s corner waves the fight off. Andre Dirrell wins by way of TKO.

Andre Dirrell improves his record to 18 wins with 13 KO’s. Derrick Findley falls to 13-3.
