Hatton says the British public would be in favour of the bout, but is not getting too exited just yet. Hatton recently drew with Lovemore N’Dou and lost to Craig Watson last year in a bout where Hatton received a boxing lesson. Hatton has also been beaten and stopped on numerous other occasions.

Roach says “I would love for Amir to fight on the undercard of Manny’s next fight. Amir would be ready for March, no problem, for another world title defense.”
