By Steve Lewis: The buzz lately has been the perceived “progress” in the Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao negotiations. We do not know yet what the terms are of the deal, so it would be prudent to reserve judgment or opinion as to whose court the ball is on at this point. Regardless of when this super fight will take place (whether it will be before or after the Philippine elections), it is being projected as the biggest moneymaker in boxing history.

Give Mayweather Jr his credit!
By Jorge Lugo: In a world where everyone takes advantage of each other Mayweather Jr has used his head just as much as his fists. With everyone (including Me) stating Mayweather hasn’t fought real fights or that he is a average fighter is one thing. But the fact is, from what I understand. Mayweather has agreed on his half to fighting Manny Pacquiao in 2010.
Manny Pacquiao: Is there any need to criticise him
By Peter Wells: It’s a horrible thing to read all these articles on this website, targeting Pacquiao to be a cheat, and a poor fighter. This man should be respected, he deserves it, and the likes of Manuel Perez and Liam Santiago really get under my skin. If you don’t like the guy then just keep it to yourself instead of telling us every week why you think he’s so rubbish. But in the real world, we real boxing fans know he is the best boxing in the world, and we all give him credit for him.
Mayweather vs. Pacquiao: Another Problem on the Horizon
Tough fighters and Pretty Fighters: Pacquiao v. Mayweather, The Latest Installment
By Caesar Almase: In the history of boxing, some of the greatest wars were waged between a tough fighters and a pretty fighter. Robinson v. LaMotta, Ali v. Frazier, Leonard v. Hearns/Duran/Hagler, Arguello v. Pryor, and now most recently, (hopefully) Pacquiao v. Mayweather. This fight, like the others mentioned, has the potential to uplift and transcend the sport of boxing. This is THE FIGHT of our generation, regardless of what the critics and naysayers say (aka the “Perez Menace,” as aptly labeled by boxing contributor, Steve Lewis, but I digress).

Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr., Continued…
By Fred-Lloyd Brunzki: Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. are two of the most interesting topics in the boxing world today and shall be in the future. The speculations and questions will only be settled after they finally meet in the ring to decide who between them is the better boxer. As to who is greater is a different issue. These are the thoughts I would like to share:
Why would Mayweather fight Matthew Hatton?
By Chris Williams: I still refuse to believe that Floyd Mayweather Jr. will opt to fight Matthew Hatton of all fighters. I know Mayweather is proud of being a business man, and doesn’t like to take punishment in his fights, but come on. He’s got to fight someone at least a little better than Matthew Hatton for Christ sakes.
