Mayweather-Pacquiao: Floyd Will never win

Image: Mayweather-Pacquiao: Floyd Will never winBy “The Inevitable” D. Berry: I’ve watched and studied all 40 of the Floyd Mayweather Jr. fights and I have realized something; Floyd Mayweather Jr. can’t win. I know some of you are thinking,” he’s so right! Mayweather can’t beat World Boxing Organization welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao!”. The problem with that thought: I wasn’t talking about the Pacquiao fight. So I strongly advise the Pac fans to exit now. Its about to get so obscene in a minute.

The Unappreciated Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. The haters

mayweather455243By D. Berry: I’ve been reading Pacquiao/Mayweather Jr articles on this site for a few months now and there is one thing I have noticed; people watch boxing but don’t understand it. So when I see people say that Floyd Mayweather Jr has boring fights, I laugh because they don’t have an idea what “boxing” is. Mayweather is one of, if not the best “boxers” I’ve ever seen in my life. The way he breaks his opponents down is really something to see. If you can’t understand Floyd’s style, its because you’re into checkers and fans of the sport like me, are into chess.

All I want for Christmas and what’s next for us after Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr?

pac45534By Nino Tecson: It really makes me wonder what’s in store for boxing fans in 2010. It looks like the Manny Pacquiao versus Floyd Mayweather Jr.fight is so close to being signed, sealed and delivered for March. Like many of you, I can’t wait to see this fight. It is the biggest fight in years. Some might even say the biggest fight of the decade or even the biggest fight of the century.

Mosley should be bigger star than Mayweather

mosley453466225By Klaas Mabetlela: Floyd Mayweather fierce critics and most general boxing fans say that he avoids the best in the world, the best in the divisions he fights in, is boring to watch, cherry picks his opponent and lately fights smaller men.

I looked closely into Shane Mosley career and it seems that he is doing exactly what Mayweather critics says Money should be doing.

Manny Pacquiao-Floyd Mayweather: Who wins and why?

pac647By Jason Haynes: So finally, the fight the world has been waiting for, Pacquiao vs Mayweather, is to be negotiated and signed….or is it so? There have been rumours of Mayweather demanding 60-65 %, Pacquaio saying that the fight will never happen because he doesn’t think Mayweather wants to fight.

The fight will happen on March 13th and even though I feel that a fight of this magnitude should be in Dallas in front of 100,00, it will be at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Boxing vs. Bloggers and Message Posters

By D. Thomason: I have given a lot of thought to the pending bout between pound 4 pound greats Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao and what stands out to me the most about the fight is how the biggest action might be taking place over message boards and blogs. It is no surprise that boxing is probably the most subjective of all sports as it pertains to deciding who the “best” is and this fight is no different.

Mayweather and Pacquiao are great business people

pac668By Klaas Mabetlela: The figures of $80m guaranteed are being bandied around for the forthcoming megafight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao. They will make even more when after the fight when all the revenues have been counted simply because the fight is going to generate record revenues. Why?

Mayweather-Pacquiao: This Is Floyd’s Only Chance To Prove His Doubters Wrong

mayweather44479By Peter Wells: With the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight set for next year, this fight may mean a hell of a lot more to Mayweather than he realises. Mayweather has plenty of doubters on this website and off this website; he has been called a cherry picker and so on. If Mayweather loses this fight, then for most people his legacy will go down the drain, winning may be the most important thing in his boxing career. A win would prove to everyone he really is a great fighter, and all his other fights weren’t just cherry picking old fighters.

Mayweather vs Pacquiao: Dallas With Largest Offer Ever – Back in the Venue Running

pac6734423By Frank Car: Jerry Jones, the owner of the 1.2 billion dollar Dallas Cowboys Stadium is apparently not ready to lie down just yet, if he ever was. Recently it was reported that Dallas was out of running to host the Mega-Fight between Mayweather and Pacquiao because Mayweather interests basically didn’t want it outside Vegas. Well money talks, and either Vegas or Dallas walks.

Who will leave the leave the greater legacy behind- Mayweather or Pacquiao

pac42835434by Liam Fitzgerald: Legacy is a term that often comes up in boxing circles. To some boxers it means everything whilst others are not too bothered about how their achievements in the ring are viewed by others. As Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr look set to meet on March 13th for the fight everybody wants to see, I thought I would look into who would leave the greater legacy behind after the fight. There’s no doubt these two are the best out there at the moment and for the last few years, so it seems logical to compare the two.
