Roger Mayweather: Pacquiao is going to get damn near killed by Floyd Jr

floyd432By Chris Williams: Floyd Mayweather Jr’s trainer/uncle Roger Mayweather is predicting a win for Mayweather in his fight against Manny Pacquiao on May 2nd. Roger sees things ending up bad for Pacquiao in this fight with him taking a beating that will leave him nearly lifeless from the shots he’ll have absorbed from Mayweather Jr.

Roger thinks Pacquiao can’t fight and is just going to end up getting his backside beaten by Mayweather in their clash at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. Roger sees Mayweather knocking Pacquiao out in this fight.

It’s not going to go to the cards with Mayweather having to risk finding himself on the receiving end of a controversial decision.

Roger has had a lot of time to appraise Pacquiao’s in order to come up with a good game plan for Mayweather to use to beat the 36-year-old Filipino superstar. What Roger has seen of Pacquiao’s previous fights doesn’t worry him at all, as he sees him as being too unskilled and sloppy to have a chance of beating Mayweather.

“He’s going to get his [backside] whooped,” Roger said via Hustleboss.com. “Pacquiao can’t fight a mother [expletive] lick anyways. He’s going to get his mother [expletive] [backside] damn near killed. I ain’t going to worry about him being focused. He’s [Floyd Jr] going to stop Pacquiao anyways.”

Pacquiao has a lot of bad habits that he’s shown in the past. He’s been able to get away with his sloppy method of fighting by a combination of questionable decisions in his first three fights against Juan Manuel Marquez, and with perfect match-making that’s been done for him by his promoter Bob Arum.

Pacquiao has further been helped by his catch-weight fights against Miguel Cotto, and Antonio Margarito. Pacquiao’s fight against Oscar De La Hoya was also an example of Pacquiao fighting a guy who had to drain down to fight him when De La Hoya came down from 154 to fight Pacquiao at 147.

Against Mayweather, Pacquiao won’t have a catch-weight to help him, and nor will he be facing a guy that was picked out for him by Arum. This is a fight where Pacquiao is going to be facing a guy with superb skills, and who isn’t weight drained. That’s why Pacquiao is going to need to fight the perfect fight in order to have a chance at winning. In other words, it’s not going to work for Pacquiao to bum rush Mayweather like he’s done against his other opponents over and over again.

Pacquiao won’t be able to dash forward from different angles repeatedly while trying to land his shots, because Mayweather will time him with something big and knock him out cold the same way that Marquez did in 2012, Mayweather has more than enough punching power to KO Pacquiao if he rushes forward at him the way he normally does.

Pacquiao’s trainer Freddie Roach is going to need break him of these bad habits for him to avoid getting knocked cold by Mayweather. At 36, Pacquiao might be too old to learn new tricks. Even if Roach has the presence of mind to try and fix Pacquiao’s sloppy fighting style, I don’t know if it’s possible for him to change.
