Mayweather vs. Pacquaio: Manny In 8

By Frank Car: From mid to late January, after the New York press conference meeting regarding Mayweather vs Pacquiao takes place, the predictions are going to start flowing. So, why not get an early start on it. It’s not all deciding who is the best boxer.

I am underestimating Floyd? No.

Do I dislike Floyd? No… not really.

Do I think Floyd is going to win? No.

Floyd likes to talk, in fact it probably has helped him, in a marketable sense. As far as “fans” are concerned … Money this, I have money that, I am the best this, your nothing compared to that… doesn’t leave many American’s to relate with. Which is in regards to his “I want the American people to stand behind me like our American soldiers” comment on Joe Buck Live. Bragging about how much money you have and self proclaimed greatness are not things most American’s are “going to get behind.”

You have a lot of money .. so what? That’s fantastic for you, a lot of people are struggling to pay their bills, get through Christmas, or even pay for the upcoming Pay-Per-View match which will be at least be 60 bucks plus (don’t forget taxes and fee’s).

Your the best ever? Well then shut up and get out there and show it, we’ll let you know. Trust me.

Mayweather is probably one the quickest, and best defensive boxers ever. But it’s not like he has gone against champ after champ after champ and just showed his amazing skills to be the best boxer ever. Someone may be one of the best fast ball hitters ever, but if you can’t hit a curve.. you only belong to one category. What the Zab Judah 12 round decision didn’t do it for you? How bout the De La Hoya match where they both looked like they could have been on a cover of a magazine after it was over.. what a war that was.. pfft.

As far as the crowd pleasing factor, some say it doesn’t matter. Well guess what, Pay-Per-View wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for fans.. paying. Boxing perhaps as a whole wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for fans watching. So what the fans think is something to put in the mix of what the best ever consists of. Mayweather has always lacked that crucial ingredient of knock out, or aggressive, or any type of fan pleasing “let’s see a result” quality.

“It’s not cool to take punishment” says Mayweather. Fair enough, but when you say your the best ever, now your opening up the conversation.

You can run, and you midas well hide, cause most think it’s boring. Some may enjoy it, and no disrespect to them, enjoy it. But as what the rest might think, as Larry Merchant (HBO commentator) once said reguarding the same topic “Not this cowboy.”

If Mayweather wants “America” to get behind him, then act like an American. Home of the BRAVE. If Mayweather were to knock Pacquiao out he could talk for eternity. In Mayweather’s first professional debut the commentators referred to him as a “Power puncher.” He also scored a KO with a body shot in the 2nd round in that bout after they said it. Well rekindal some of those skills and let’s see it.

Pacquiao, goes out there and creates results, decisive results. If he implores some boxing skills, moves his head, keeps his speed to the plus of the things, with good footwork, he can cut off the ring and hand the self pre-signified “best ever” the first loss of his career in the 8th.

Mayweather may just have to stop and trade this time around, which if he does, he may surprise even himself, or just get knocked out. One of the two. Either is better then 12 round – we barely broke a sweat – decision. From a fans point of a view that is, which might I add is the driving force behind this mega pay day of boxing history.

Mayweather has a reservoir of potential untapped, if he were to dig deep and leave the “don’t hurt me” attitude behind, that could spell trouble for all. Trouble for every doubter, him for perhaps having to take a punch, and any opponent including Pacquiao being on the other side of that potential. In fact the only guaranteed winner would be the fans who were waiting for it all along, seeing something possibly special that could irrupt into something being special.

But that is more than unlikely, he has had 40 professional chances to do so, and hasn’t yet. At least not against someone of a top rank, no pun intended (Top Rank Promotions is Pacquiao’s promotional company).

It could be do to his hands being in other words “weak.” And I mean the bone structure, he has had problems with his hands early on in his pro career and has contributed their re-found success to proper hand rapping. Whether or not this hinders him to throw power punches, is meh. Maybe. But really? Not likely. But possible..

I’ve heard Mayweather say things like “10 fingers 10 toes” when talking about his children being born and how that’s all he wanted, leaving his usual money talks somewhere else. He has his noble qualities. It’s when he starts talking about boxing that he leaves those behind, self personifications, about money and skills. Go watch Rocky a couple times if you want to see someone that can inspire. Okay it’s a movie, but just get some ideas.

I’d like to see Mayweather go out there and be an American pride, but he has a few things to work on. Perhaps he just has to be himself at his strong boxing roots and not the “money” man who goes out there to score points and come back and say I am the best.

Freddie Roach is an American who coaches Pacquiao so there is a bit of nationalism to be had on the other side as well. But it’s not about that. It’s about a good match. Let’s not be so content to judge based on where your from, if we can help it. We are all human and on a planet floating in a universe of take a guess. Perhaps judge the man and the qualities, rather then where he comes from and what he looks like. But don’t slam the guilty sticks too hard, and let’s not be so content to judge one another in the first place.

Philosophy aside, in the end, or in the beginning of the March 13th Mega-Fight, most likely it’s going to be Emmanuel Dapidran Pacquiao otherwise known as Manny “Pac-Man” Pacquaio putting on the who’s who display. Who is the crowd-pleaser, who shows skill, who creates an end and doesn’t wait for it, who is out there to do his best and not look his best, and who just is the Pound-4-Pound Boxing Champion of the World.

    Great Great Article!!

Finally someone who tells it as it is.

Now if only Liam Santiago and Manuel Lopez would be as unbiased, then we probably would be reading their articles right now..

  • Tony says:

Floyd Mayweather is the best fighter in the world. I like Pacquiao as a person and a fighter, but he doesn’t have what it takes to beat Floyd. That’s ok though. Nobody does. People hate Floyd for his trash talking. It’s part of the sport. He talks trash, and after defeating an opponent, gives them the credit they deserve. He gets into their heads, and into his own head. You have to convince your opponent that they are garbage, and convince yourself the same. Only after a fight can you admit to an opponents abilities. Why the hell would you try to give confidence to an opponent? Floyd is a defensive genious, and the most accurate fighter in the sport. Is Manny more exciting at times? Sure. That doesn’t make him the best. Is he the most likely man to beat Floyd. Yes. That doesn’t mean it will happen. Manny is a great fighter and a great man, but that doesn’t mean he will win either. Floyd will win the fight. Probably by points, but i could see a frustrated Manny throwing wildly and being countered into the canvas as well

  • Izzi4Real says:

Like some other responders to this topic, I’m wondering how many of you all, including the author of this article, really know boxing. I’m reading all these replies about how Pacquiao is basically going to do whatever he wants to do in this fight and that Floyd is just going to sit there like a lame duck and get punished. The idea that this fight will end by an 8th round KO is…retarded!!! Floyd took 18 months off, came back and showed no ring rust or loss of speed or skill; he’s never endured any punishment that evolve into his skills diminishing; and, he’s never been beaten – if fact, when he’s fought the elite fighters that were put against him, he made them look average at best…that being said, why do some of you people think that Manny is just going whip Floyd like it’s nothing? You all do realize to whip as you have to bring as, and risk getting your as whipped in the process – so what happens when Manny begins to catch some of that as whipping? None of you are taking into consideration the fact that he’s fighting against someone who’s technically superior to him in all phases of the game other than power and aggressiveness, but Manny’s aggressiveness, in my opinion is overcompensation for a lack of defense…he stays on the prowl in order to keep his man from being able to set up shots, but Floyd doesn’t need to set up, he can hit Manny from anywhere, just like Manny has all of these ‘odd angles’ to punch from.
Floyd’s defense, ring generalship and all around boxing ability will assure that Pacquiao won’t knock him out. Manny’s a great fighter, no doubt about it, but this is going to be a clinic by round 6. I don’t doubt that Manny will try to unload on Floyd, but I don’t see him catching Floyd with one of his off angle shots. Floyd’s defense won’t allow the fight to get to that point. If Manny lets off those types of combinations, it will be in an attempt to penetrate Floyd’s defense and not due to an offensive opportunity. He may connect on a body shot here and there, but when have we ever seen Manny take somebody out with body punching? Never, dude is strictly a head hunter, and Floyd’s lateral quickness, speed and the ability to counter while slipping a punch will neutralize that strategy. I think by round 6, if Manny hasn’t done any damage, which I don’t think he will by then, he’ll be true to his nature and try to turn this into a slugfest and have a boxing clinic put on him. Floyd’s too intelligent of a “boxer” to allow Manny and Roach to dictate the type of fight this becomes.
And, one aspect of this fight that people are forgetting is the emotional aspect. Freddy Roach hates the Mayweathers – he’s already talking about a street fight with Roger (lol, Roger would kick his @ss, but that’s another story). I think that his hatred will translate into part of his strategy against Floyd. He’s already stated that he’s predicting and wants a knockout. If he sends Pacquiao into this fight with those orders, he’s going to get that man dinged up from pot shots all night.
I think in this fight we’ll get the inspired Floyd, and he’ll land too many precise shots on Pacquiao. This fight will be a good one, but Manny just doesn’t have enough boxing ‘skill’ to beat Floyd, and punching from odd angles isn’t a skill…if it were any other fighter it would be called ‘reckless abandon’, and I think this is the one fight where it’s not going to work.

  • kingalex says:

Manny in 8… will be thinking on how good Floyd Mayweather has been and looking just to fight 12 rounds and on the losing end this time around.(something like JMM). And when PBF defeats Manny it was because he took another lightweight or some critics close to that because they never gave credit to him(PBF) for what he does.

  • boxerboy says:

    jesmedhytz, p4p che!
what do you know about the sport of boxing anyway?? is pacman vs. mayweather the only thing you know about the sport of boxing?? learn more about the other divisions and it’s fighters, will you! fyi,the title pound for pound is unofficial and overhyped! oh, i forgot, you’re probably one of the many who is caught up in the hype…

  • Taff says:

Too many people are letting the fact that they dislike Floyd cloud their judgement over this fight. Now, I’m a fan of both fighters, but when i think about it, it seems quite clear that Mayweather wins. Pacquiao can win, but i don’t see it happening. Two words spring to mind when i think of this fight: boxing clinic.

  • floyd trainer says:

floyd has fast hands. he can deliver his right jab on the body of pacman but expect that floyd gayweather receives a devastating blow of pacman right on his face or body that later floyd will slow down. after floyd makes aright jab he follows up it with a right straight sometimes his abdomen is open with a left straight or a 12:00 upper of pacman. thats the time floyd tastes the sweetness of pacman’s massage. on the otherhand, floyd will employ his hit and run style, throws punches and attack with his right straight and uses his elbow as his defense.floyd gayweather is not a hard punher at . he keeps on running if he feels his opponent is strong. lastly , floyd will gain a superb and a world class number 1 gade on his report card after the day.his 0 will turn to number 1.

  • Jake says:

Pacquiao by a Knockout, between 5-8.

  • Erik says:

Manny fights real good when he’s the favorite, but fights even better when he’s the underdog. I hope he is an underdog, so the odds are higher on the Las Vegas payoff.

  • Oli says:

As great as pacquiao is im afraid he will be made an example of on march 13th and be taught a terrible lesson.

Then all the mayweather critics will have to learn and like it

  • josh says:

im not saying anything on whos going to win. but in march i will come here to laugh at the losers fan

  • OMISOH says:

Pacman is a good boxer but with no defence, Mayweather will win unanimously after 12 rounds or a TKO IN THE LATE ROUNDS.

  • Real Student of Boxing says:

Anyone that knows boxing knows that Pac Man’s biggest asset, his speed, will be neutralized by Floyd who is even faster. Floyd is far to technically sound for pac man to figure out. Pac Man misses to many punches from awkward positions and he has been getting away with it because the last three fighters are not fast enough to make him pay. Floyd is the sports consumate counter puncher and the most accurate puncher in the history of the sport, and his speed is far underrated. For those that admire Pac Man’s gladiator like style, keep in mind that his styled has gotten him knocked out twice by much smaller men. People don’t like Mayweather because he brags, but as a former fighter, trainer and boxing purist I know that Floyd is to technically sound a fighter for Manny. I liken Manny to Mike Tyson a brawler with hand speed whose best defense is his offense, and I liken Floyd to Holyfield who was just to technically sound for Manny. The mexican fighter that Floyd just destroyed, fought two knock down drag out wars against Pacquiao, a split decision and a draw.

  • Jay says:

I respect both fighters craft and style of fighting, but truth be told Manny will beat Floyd, for the pure fact that he fights for country, while Floyd fights solely for a paycheck, and I respect his business sense. He is one of the only fighters in the sport of boxing outside of Oscar D that understands that this business in that it will chew you up, and spit you out at the end of the day.
Manny throws more combo’s then Floyd and he continues to attack with force. Floyd had a chance to fight Cotto, but he retired, he may have had his reason for doing so but I question his vetting technique and how opponents are picked. So far Manny has fought the best of the best and is known as the Mexican killer, who other than the executioner have you seen stop Oscar????????????? *Manny*

  • pongii says:

Kudos to Frank Car! This article is truely based on the facts and has been reviewed carefully. I like Floyd Mayweather Jr. but unfortunately I really like more Manny Pacquiao who just joined in the welterweight division and swiftly becomes the Champion of the World. This dude knocks out tough fighters along the way from featherweight – welterweight.

Absolutely, I have no doubts – I am willing to bet all my wealth for Manny Pacquiao. How about you Floyd Mayweather Jr. fans? Are you 100% bet all your wealth for Floyd Mayweather? Hmm…not really sure huh? Trust me, that’s why I shifted to Manny Pacquiao and bye-bye Floyd Mayweather Jr.

  • Rafa1974 says:

I think it will be Mayweather in 8. He will punish Pacquiao, his corner might throw in the towel. Mayweather is going to make an example out of him. Just to quite all the haters.

  • Bernard "Blade" Williams says:

I think at some point of the fight, Mayweather will have to go mano to mano. Manny has madd stamina and can go 15 strong if he has too. My prediction if Mayweather fights Manny fight which is all night banging toe to toe, no holds barred, many will drop him no doubt he would get knock the F— Out, but being that Mayweather fights with his head not his heart would make the diference in the fight. He is 40 an 0, becuase he never lose his composure even in the midst of conflict and adversity. This is evident by when Zab Juddah hit him with a low blow he maintained and did not get caught up in the melee, and came back to finish him off. May weather fights to win, not knockout the fighter. If the knockout comes so be it, i think that he has the potential to slowly dissect Manny’s style, and Manny will get frustrated, becasue he’s not banging toe to toe with him each round, but he is actually boxing him each round. Mayweather will find the vulnerable moments to bill points to win the fight, he will not go for The knockout, becuase that would mean he would have to step out of his element in which he would not do. I respect them both as fighters, but i also feel that Manny will fight the best next year, and i feel that the smartest fighters always win. Call it running, avoiding, not able to take a punch, no knockout power etc, the bottom line is to fight the fight you were trained to fight. Staying on course is what win battles, and if you lose the battle that you prepare for without deviating away from the plan, then much respect is due. I pick Mayweather in 12, becasue it will go all…. the…. way….

  • DBeals says:

I’ve said this many times. For those that don’t know boxing this is for you. Styles make fights. You can’t go by what Pacman did to Cotto, Hatton or ODLH to say Pacman will knock out or beat PBF. Nor can you say just because PBF dominated JMM that packman will be an easy fight. You never know. What we do know is Pacman seems to be able to use his power and speed effectively when fighting fighters that have litte or no movement. This is not the case with PBF. Some call it running but thats just ignorance to boxing. As someone posted earlier, PBF is a boxing, not a slugger. If his fights are boring don’t watch them! Simple. I predict Pacman will get frustrated just as Zab Judah and get wild and leave himself open for the pin-point-puncher Mayweather. That’s my opinion and I’m allowed to have one. Fact is PBF haters hate because they really don’t like the guy for his bragging and money flashing. All the other crap is just excuses to hate. Fact is I don’t like it either but you have to admire his skills. There will be many accuses after PBF wins this fight. Manny is too small, Manny was worried about the elections, Manny fought too soon after the Cotto fight etc….Just as PBF said, this is a loose loose fight for him.

  • KKK says:

Manny will win by way of K.O. Lights out! The trash talking will finally stop.

  • Aussiefan says:

Pacquiao saved the sport of boxing. I really thought it was dead until Pacquiao came to the picture. More power to the little man. Speed, power, stamina, work rate, ability to adjust, ability to take a punch, and the best corner in the world. Can’t see it any other way. Bad news for Mayweather!

  • AmericanFighter says:

I agree with the writer. This is not a national fight, but rather an individual fight. Nowhere in the billing will it say Philippines VS United States. It is about going for which individual you admire more. To me, that is Pacquiao. He actually represents the American spirit more the Floyd. So I hope Manny wins…by knockout of course.

  • MonkeyHater says:

bettorboxing – You’re becoming a Mayweather. Your friends have abandoned you! lol

  • MonkeyHater says:

    Manny will kill that monkey!

  • neukid says:

Frankly I dont agree with you that Floyd will get KOed in the 8th I think Floyd will not allow his pretty face be messed up like Cottos I think he will go the way of Ricky two rounds, max.

  • bettorboxing says:

come on Mayweather fans help me out here. EVERYBODY KNOWS MAYWEATHER IS GOING TO WIN. IN FACT HE SHOULD BE A 10 TO 1 FAVORITE TO WIN BY KNOCKOUT. If you love Money May you gotta say that. come on lets go. I need to a really long vacation maybe even retire and live like these two fighters after this fight. Mayweather by knockout in the 1st round. Lets go!!!!!

  • eds says:

    love the article.
    ’twas not bias at all.
    these are clean facts.

mayweather will only be the better fighter if he had more offense… points are boring.

  • pugilista says:

Nice article….on the MONEY! Having said that if the fight does happen which I doubt or least in March anyway Roach and Manny aren’t allowing weight games by Mayweather ( Doesn’t make weight….fight off ) no fine crap and now they decided to pull “drug testing two weeks prior” out of their ass, all for barganing power, you drop this clause we’ll drop that, they kow he is a natural. As far as MW being undefeated , I feel he lost to Castillo. Manny is no drug enhanced athelete, he is a NATURAL sporting talent under the eyes of GOD with a great trainer and HUMAN BEING. Mayweather is a GREAT boxer but MANNY is a WARRIOR not for work, for truth, for love, honour and his people! Manny will drop him in the third , KO him in the 10th! ENGLISH TEACHER if you want literature get on to http://www.shakes peare.com!

  • Ignazio Constantino says:

I would like to add that anyone who really thinks Money spoiled Mayweather is a GREAT fighter has to be on drugs. He might be undefeated and all but let’s face it statistics don’t mean a thing if they were earned RUNNING the whole time. I think pretty boy should have been in track and field instead of boxing then you could say he’s great cause we all know he’s a good runner. As for his actual FIGHTING SKILLS are concerned where are they? Yeah his defense is good I might even go as far as to say it is his best quality. But his offense is almost non existent at times and that’s what makes his fights BORING!!!! I’ve never ordered a Mayweather fight and even though I’m more inclined to Manny winning this one I will NOT order it either. We as fans have to realize that we pay their salaries so that we can watch an exciting FIGHT. Plain and simple…. Mayweather is not exciting to watch.

  • T-Dub says:

Why do people want Floyd to lose, is it because he talks and take care of business in the ring? Pa talks too, just through other people, not saying that it is something wrong with that. Pac talks, but he goes about it a different way, which he boxes and let his people do the talking. Floyd does them both, talks and box. Floyd will be the smartest boxer Pac has fought in a while, so we will see who will win. i am picking Floyd.

  • motownhitman says:

Ok for all the talk about Manny being this great closer, the reality is that Floyd has a KO rate of 62.5% the same KO rate as Sugar Ray Leonard and Pac has a KO rate of 69.1%. The bottom line is Floyd is not a KO artist..SO WHAT he is a boxer and often times boxers have a lower KO rate than sluggers…again SO WHAT. People give their opinions as if their opinions are the end all be all. It is all about preference, apparently the writer prefers sluggers, that however does not mean Floyd’s style is boring. The reality is I have seen all of Manny’s fights in the last 8+ years and I still prefer to watch Floyd…just a preference. The fact that Floyd isn’t a KO king has nothing to do with his skill level. Up until Pac’s last 3 fights ago did anyone really think Pac was in the same league as Floyd..NO! Let’s keep it in perspective folks!!

  • Taff says:

What exactly is your reason for picking Pacquiao in this fight? Cos you seem to be saying Mayweather will lose because he’s not entertaining and talks a lot.

  • d.d. says:

oh boy !! manny sure looks good fighting fighters coming straight forward with no defense !! i hope all the mayweather bashing continues because it will make floyd train EVEN HARDER YET .. look for mayweather to really make a statement in this fight …

  • Josh says:

This will be Floyd’s biggest payday however it will also be his biggest lost. Everything Floyd has, will begin to erode from here. I predict Paquiao Midgit will beat him, and an ambulance will rush Floyd to the emergency, while Paquiao rushes to change to do an afterfight cocert.

  • Iska says:

i’m actually tired of seeing comments that floyd won’t be there to be hit bec. that’s what he does best. they forget that every fight team pacquiao studies their opponent, digesting every bit of detail—weaknesses & strenghts–in order to come up with a plan to counter & take disadvantage on fight night.
how many times have roach said they need to train longer, it’s a different fight, it all starts back to zero, etc. bec. floyd is a defensive boxer.
that’s why i believe that come fight night, either manny will wait for floyd to come up & fight and not make it a boring night or manny will train to run after floyd, bring a nice defense to boot to counter floyd’s potshots and win in UD.

  • sammy wilcox says:

hear we go again trash talk well we will see fight night i rekon mayweather but been proved wrong before but id say 80 percent sure that mayweather will win

  • EMILIO says:

    The dinamite MAYWEATHER

  • P.R. SHADOW says:

HERE WE ARE 2 OF THE BEST WILL GET IT ON IS GOING TO BE A CLASSIC THE WORLD WILL BE ON HIS FEET WATCHING THIS EVENT I HOPE THEY PUT ON A GOOD SHOW NOT A DISSAPOINTMENT,GUYS THIS IS A TOUGH FIGHT TO BET BUT I THINK MANNY WILL COMEOUT ON TOP JUST BECAUSE HE HAS BEEN MORE ACTIVE AND ADJUSTING BETTER TO WEIGHT REMEMBER F.M.J IS NOT A BIG W.W EITHER DONT FOOL YOURSELF WITH THAT.AND IN THE OTHER HAND FLOYD IS VERY SNEAKY AND FAST SO IS GOING TO BE HARD TO SEE WHAT GOING TO HAPPEN.”HAPPY HOLIDAYS”GUYS.

  • redmanshouts says:

I want to like Floyd I really do, but he makes it almost impossible. I find him engaging in interviews and his skills in the ring are impressive but ultimately very uninspiring. He has never cleaned up a division and never “let loose”. Mayweather needs this fight and he needs to win clearly. If he does then (your right) he can talk all he wants and we will listen more.

Pacquaio is a revelation – moving up the weights has made his fists and his chin much tougher. He has lost some speed but it is a small price to pay for what he has gained. The Mayweather jab and follow up may be to much for him for you can be sure he will try to knock Floyd out until the end.

Head says Mayweather – Heart says Pacquaio

What a fight. It really could not come sooner.

  • Ghost Dog says:

Rather fail with honor than succeed by fraud

  • James Hakim says:

ur a hater, everyone knows mayweather will win, enough said.

  • Ghost Dog says:

Floyd haters won’t try and discredit him. Floyd discredits himself by proclaiming he’s the best yet, won’t take challenges to fight the best to be the best. At a time coming up he may’ve been considered the best, but what did he do when he got there. People aim for you when your at the top, and if you don’t fight back to prove it your just being protective of legacy that ain’t there or an O. Lol

  • Aled says:

I like ur comment, jesmedhytz. I’m thinking of the same.

  • Ghost Dog says:

Floyd fans enjoy and call it a boxing match. Pacquiao fans enjoy and call it a boxing fight. One boxer plays it safe, comes in to survive, and has a mouthful to say. The other fighter aims to take victory, comes in to destroy, and wont say much, if anything will have a concert afterwards for the fans. Lol

  • Krista says:

After Pacquiao defeated Miguel Cotto there is someone waiting for him outside the ring and that is non other than the pound for pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr.

  • Steve London says:

    Good article,well done writer.
Firstly message to “ENGLISH TEACHER” this is a boxing site, not a English Grammer site.If your here to look at spelling you must have a very sad life.
My views on mweather is,of all the talk of his greatness, and his fans support this, can you please show me the proof?
Name me 5 of mweather best fights? In 10 years time, will anyone be watching fights of wmeather? No,why?cos hes boring.
I can name you 5 of Pacquiao best fights,10 or 15 if you want.In 10 years time I’ll still watch his fights, why? cos he’s entertaining, brave and unrelenting.
If mweather fans want to watch someone run for 35mins, you can enjoy yourself on track and field.
I’ll go with Pacquiao hurting mweather, but wmeather and his family are self protection experts,I expect him to run and not engage. When he loses on points complain and crow for a rematch,( and more $ )
Mweather has had chances to win fights convincingly, rather then wait like a vulture for his opponent to get ragged and tired,as in Hatton etc.He doesnt take a chance, doesnt want to get hit,its the mweather way.
As he’s hand picked fighters smaller, slower, older, under weight his skills have eroded. He’s not as fast as before, has slipped into bad habits, all of this will be exposed against Pacquiao.
Finally I dont believe mweather will fight Pacquiao in March.

  • jakerbang says:

it’s good!!! article!!! BUT why do people say manny don’t have def.??? do you really see how manny fight?? can’t they see manny offense is his defense!!!?? by moving his head and body his defending and preparing for an attack. and his on the attack his all out so he really can’t defend at that point… why do people don’t see that!!! if his not attacking his defense is there!!

  • Predatorfather says:

Pac’s can’t hit floyd in a distance. That’s the sad thruth. Floyd will toy Pac from Rd1 to 12.

  • meow says:

Yup, you’re right on! pac-man will beat floyd. Even his father and cousins know about it. They’ve even bet for pacman to win against floyd. Floyd will not be able to take the punches of pacman. For all floyd fans, review all his fights in Youtube you’ll see

  • lionheart says:

    well said!!! love the article…

  • Phoocquiao says:

Floyd Mayweather is kinda like Nascar to me. Like Nascar has a large purist fan base that loves the sport of racing. The majority of people though, just watch to see a crash….

  • KeyTae says:

Check it out. Manny will take a beating come March 13th. Bra has no defense and quiet as kept bra hits harder than what’s given credit for. Floyd is just that good so when you say he’s boring its not his fault that his opponent can’t get the job done. You are looking at greatness people. He is that good.

  • Ryan says:
