By Brian Garnett: It is embarrassing to watch the best boxer of this era chase down a fight with a guy whom has never fought in a professional boxing match in Floyd Mayweather Jr. chasing a fight against Conor McGregor. It is disgusting to watch a guy to whom boxing has given so much to consistently dismiss current champions as not being “on his level” while promoting a fight with a novice. When asked about fighting a current boxing champion such as Keith Thurman Mayweather is quick to say that he has no interest in those fights or worse yet he will say he doesn’t know much about that fighter. That is utterly disrespectful to the sport of boxing.

Mayweather is saying it’s official that he’s coming out of retirement, but it looks like it’s just a lot of talk from him. Until McGregor takes the fight with him, it’s not official that Mayweather is coming out of retirement. Will the UFC allow McGregor to fight outside of their sport? That is the big question.
