David Haye says he bulked up to 227 by eating frequently

YouTube video

By Scott Gilfoid: David Haye (26-2, 24 KOs) says he made it a point to bulk up for his fight against #10 WBA Mark De Mori (30-1-2, 26 KOs) for their heavyweight fight on Saturday night. Haye, 35, says he ate more and didn’t worry about keeping his weight down. The results were Haye putting on a significant amount of weight and coming in at 227lbs at Friday’s weigh-in. De Mori still outweighs Haye in coming in at 243lbs.

Whyte: Haye beats De Mori in three rounds or less

YouTube video

By Scott Gilfoid: British heavyweight Dillian Whyte does not think too much of David Haye’s opponent Mark De Mori (30-1-2, 26 KOs) for Saturday night. Whyte says he will be surprised if the 33-yar-old De Mori even makes it to the third round. Whyte believes that Haye would beat De Mori even if he did not train for over a year, because he sees this as little more than a mismatch designed to make Haye look good.

David Haye: King of the Pay Day

YouTube video

By Matt Plumridge: David “Haymaker” Haye (26-2, 24KO) returns to action this Saturday in a tune up fight against Aussie banger Mark De Mori (30-1-2) with the intention of setting out his golden stall on the way to some lucrative match ups later in the year.

Despite being out for 3 and a half years, Haye still carries plenty of interest for casual fans both wanting him to win and lose, and with fast hands, an explosive punch and a mobile style, he still has plenty to offer the division.

De Mori: I have explosive power; I am ready to KO Haye

YouTube video

By Scott Gilfoid: Despite having an impressive record and a decent ranked with the WBA, Mark De Mori (30-1-2, 26 KOs) has been brought in to be the token lamb for Britain’s David Haye (26-2, 24 KOs) to slaughter this Saturday night in their heavyweight fight at the O2 Arena in London, UK. De Mori, 33, has obviously been well- vetted as a vulnerable fighter that Haye could not possibly lose to, so now all that needs to happen is the actual beating of De Mori by Haye.

David Haye: It’s my destiny to regain the heavyweight championship

haye7888By Scott Gilfoid: The ring rusty often injured British heavyweight David “Hayemaker” Haye (26-2, 24 KOs) will be making one of his rare appearances this Saturday night against fringe contender Mark De Mori (30-1-2, 26 KOs) at the O2 Arena in London, England.

Haye is blabbering about it being his destiny to recapture a world title in his comeback. If Haye does recapture a world title, he’ll likely be 36 or 37 by the time that happens, because he sure as heck won’t be getting a shot at any of the titles in 2016.

Haye arguably didn’t deserve to win a heavyweight world title in November 2009 in beating then WBA champion Nikolay Valuev by a very, very questionable 12 round majority decision despite being badly outworked and out-landed by the big Russian.

Haye: I’m going to smash De Mori to pieces

haye100By Scott Gilfoid: Well, it looks like David Haye (26-2, 24 KOs) is bragging again about his upcoming fight against what figures to be the sacrificial lamb in the slick-backed, pomade-haired Mark De Mori (30-1-2, 26 KOs) this Saturday night at the O2 Arena in London, UK.

Haye is bragging about how he’s going to smash the 33-year-old De Mori to smithereens, as if doing that would be a huge accomplishment. A total destruction of De Mori would mean something if De Mori had actually beaten some quality fighters before to make him a good scalp for Haye, but the fact of the matter he has not.

All the guys on De Mori’s resume are of the obscure variety. De Mori was knocked out in the 1st round by someone named John Wyborn in 2004. De Mori never avenged the loss for some reason.

Haye still wants Tyson Fury fight

haye3333By Scott Gilfoid: David Haye (26-2, 24 KOs) has not given up on the idea of facing IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KOs) in the future. Haye says he sees Fury as being someone in the mix for a fight between them so that he can try to win Fury’s titles.

Haye has a long, long ways to go before there is any chance of him fighting Fury for his titles. Haye, 35, will be fighting #10 WBA Mark De Mori (30-1-2, 26 KOs) this Saturday night on January 16 at the O2 Arena in London, UK. If Haye beats De Mori, then he plans to fight a couple of guys in 2016 before possibly facing British/Commonwealth heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua by the end of the year.

“Hopefully he wins the rematch against Wladimir Klitschko and he can get in the mix, and I can get all the belts, basically,” Haye said to skysports.com.

De Mori expects early KO ending in Haye fight

1-Haye v De Mori 2By Scott Gilfoid: 33-year-old Mark de Mori (30-1-2, 26 KOs) doesn’t see his fight with former two division belt holder David Haye (26-2, 24 KOs) lasting more than four rounds in their fight on January 16 at the O2 Arena in London, UK.

De Mori feels that he’ll either get to the 35-year-old Haye and KO him with a brutal left hook to the head like he’s knocked out many of his other opponents in his career, or Haye will get to him to score a knockout.
