Pascal, 31, will have the Canadian crowd on his side when he steps foot inside the ring on Saturday night against the hard hitting Kovalev. Whether that will be enough for Pascal to get the victory remains to be seen.

Sergey Kovalev: A True Champion
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ZxT3azEWPE
By Wilmar Patino (Boxing’s Finest) Sergey Kovalev will be facing off against Jean Pascal on March 14, 2015 in Montreal, Canada. Sergey Kovalev will have all his 3 titles (WBA, WBO, & IBF) on the line when he faces Jean Pascal in the challengers hometown. This is why Sergey Kovalev is a True Champion. He’s not afraid of anyone and he will go anywhere to take on all challengers despite the politics.
Pascal: I’m going to be the black Balboa against Sergey Kovalev
By Dan Ambrose: Former WBC light heavyweight Jean Pascal (29-2-1, 17 KOs) says he sees his upcoming March 14th title shot against IBF/WBA/WBO light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev (26-0-1, 23 KOs) as a fight similar to the movie Rocky IV. But instead of Pascal seeing himself in the Apollo Creed role where he gets smashed to bits by Russian Ivan Drago, Pascal sees himself as a black version of Rocky Balboa.
For the boxing fans who may have forgotten the plot, Drago kills Creed in the ring after giving him a vicious beating. Balboa then trains hard and takes on Drago and defeats him despite giving up a massive amount of size to the much bigger Drago.
Steve Cunningham vs. Vyacheslav Glazkov the co-feature on Kovalev-Pascal card on March 14th
By Dan Ambrose: The March 14th fight card headlined by Sergey Kovalev vs Jean Pascal will have a heavyweight match between #6 WBC, #9 WBO, #12 WBA Vyacheslav Glazkov (19-0-1, 12 KOs) and #4 IBF, #14 WBO, #14 WBA Steve Cunningham (28-6, 13 KOs) as the co-feature bout at the Bell Centre, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
This is kind of disappointing because there was talk about a match between light heavyweight contenders Artur Beterbiev and Isaac Chilemba potentially taking place on the card, and that’s a much better fight than Cunningham-Glazkov. Beterbiev has the potential to be a future world champion at light heavyweight.
Kovalev not worried about fighting Pascal in Canada
By Allan Fox: IBF/WBA/WBO light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev (26-0-1, 23 KOs) may be a three-belt world champion and the guy that many boxing fans consider to be the best fighter in the 175 pound division, but on March 14th, Kovalev will be in the adopted country of his opponent Jean Pascal (29-2-1, 17 KOs) at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada.
The reason why Kovalev will be fighting in Canada rather than the United States or Russia is because Pascal has a huge fan base in Canada. They can make more money fighting in Canada in front of a large audience of Pascal fans than they could if the fight took place in the U.S.
