By Dave Lahr: International Boxing Federation/World Boxing Organization heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (53-3, 47 KO’s) is wary about this Saturday night’s fight against his number # 1 challenger Eddie Chambers (35-1, 18 KO”s) at the ESPRIT arena, Düsseldorf, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. In an article at Sport.ru, the thirty-three year old Klitschko says “How dangerous is Eddie Chambers? I am fully aware that his little man is extremely dangerous.” Chambers will be giving up nearly six inches in height and over 30+ pounds in weight to the much bigger Wladimir. This could end up meaning a lot if Chambers isn’t able to get within punching range or if he can’t take the big punishing shots from Klitschko.

Chambers sees no problems beating Klitschko
By Jim Dower: American heavyweight contender Eddie Chambers (35-1, 18 KO’s) feels good about his chances of beating IBF/WBC heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (53-3, 47 KO’s) on March 20th when he fights him in Germany. Chambers, 27, says in an article at Boxing Talk “I’m coming to win this fight handily and in twelve rounds. I should be in front pretty easily.” Chambers thinks he’ll be able to out-point Klitschko, which is kind of the opposite of what most fighters attempt to do when they face Wladimir. Winning rounds against the tall 6’6” Klitschko isn’t an easy thing for most fighters do.
Klitschko vs. Chambers prediction
By Dave Lahr: IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko is perhaps the best heavyweight we’ve seen since Lennox Lewis retired six years ago. Klitschko’s power, hand speed, movement and athleticism is unmatched by any other heavyweight in the division. He’s been almost untouchable since hiring legendary trainer Emanuel Steward six years ago fix his stamina and defensive liabilities. With that said, I think challenger Eddie Chambers (35-1, 18 KO’s) is going to knock Klitschko out in the 6th round on March 20th when they meet at the ESPRIT arena, Düsseldorf, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany.
March/April upcoming fights and odds: Pacquiao-Clottey, Froch-Kessler, Abraham-Dirrell
By Richie Doyle: So now we finally here after months of lacklustre fights and no huge bouts we get two good months for the loyal boxing fans and gamblers looking to place a few wagers in the upcoming months so here are my best odds and tips.
Pacquiao vs Clottey: Look for this to be tough for pacquiao bet straight forward, attack from the off (like against cotto) and press a beat down towards the end of the fight but saying this I expect Clottey to reach the final bell as he’s never been KOd and has fought big punches in the past (Margarito) so at 13/8 Pacquiao by points or decision seems a good bet.
Klitschko needs to beat Chambers in an impressive manner
By Jim Dower: The knock on IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko is that he’s a boring, safety first fighter who lacks heart. Some people think Wladimir does just enough to win his fights, and because of that believe, many boxing fans have lost interest in watching Wladimir fight. This hasn’t been lost on HBO, who now rarely shows any of Klitschko’s fights anymore. That’s hard to imagine for a heavyweight who has dominated the heavyweight division for the most part for the past five years.
Chamber’s trainer sees Klitschko as predictable
By Jim Dower: Rob Murray, the trainer for heavyweight contender Eddie Chambers (35-1, 18 KOs), sees IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (53-3, 47 KO’s) as an easy fighter to get his fighter ready for, saying in article at ESPN, “Klitschko fights the same way every time. That robotic, Eastern European style. It’s easy to train for him, because you know what he’s gonna do.” It’s good that Chamber’s trainer feels positive about the Klitschko fight, but unfortunately he’s not the one that’s going to be in the ring with Klitschko on March 20th, at the ESPRIT arena, Düsseldorf, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany.
Chambers has to force Klitschko to fight
By Dave Lahr: If heavyweight contender Eddie Chambers (35-1, 18 KO’s) has any hope of beating IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (53-3, 47 KO’s) on March 20th, he’s going to have to try and force Klitschko into some hard exchanges and force him to fight him. Chambers doesn’t have the size or the power to fight in a slow and methodical way and still beat a huge 6’6” fighter like Wladimir. He has to try and get Klitschko into a dog fight, make him tire out and possibly land something hard enough while Klitschko is fighting all out. That’s pretty much Chamber’s only chance of beating the 33-year-old Wladimir.
Wladimir Klitschko in training camp/quotes for Chambers bout
Going/Austria (March 4, 2010) – Wladimir Klitschko (53-3, 47 KOs), of Kiev (Ukraine) and Hamburg (Germany), participated yesterday in a media work out in his training camp in Austria. He discussed his upcoming WBO, International Boxing Federation and IBO heavyweight title defense against WBO-No. 1-ranked mandatory challenger Eddie Chambers (35-1, 18 KOs), of Philadelphia.
The eagerly anticipated heavyweight championship will take place on Saturday, March 20, at ESPRIT arena Düsseldorf, Germany.
Klitschko vs. Chambers: Look for Wladimir to crush Eddie
By Erik Schmidt: At 6’1” 208, American heavyweight contender Eddie Chambers (35-1, 18 KO’s) would be better suited to fight at cruiserweight rather than fighting against giant heavyweights like the Klitschko brothers. On March 20th, Chambers, 27, fights would could be the best of the two Klitschko brothers when he faces IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (53-3, 47 KO’s) at the ESPRIT arena, Düsseldorf, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. Wladimir is the faster of the two brothers with true one-punch power.
Wladimir Klitschko looking really bulky for Chambers fight – News
By Erik Schmidt: With less than three weeks to go before his March 20th fight against American heavyweight contender Eddie Chambers (35-1, 18 KO’s), IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (53-3, 47 KO’s) is looking really bulky, much bigger than usual. In a recent German television program, Klitschko, 33, looked a lot heavier than normal, appearing to weigh above his ordinary weight of 245. Could it be that Klitschko is taking Chambers for granted for this fight? After all, the 6’6” Klitschko will have an enormous height and weight advantage over the 6’1” 209 pound Chambers when they step into the ring on March 20th.
