Haye hoping a quick KO of Fury will lead to rematch against Wladimir

haye45234By Scott Gilfoid: David Haye (26-2, 24 KO’s) is really hoping that IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko will agree to give him a rematch if Haye obliterates unbeaten and untested heavyweight contender Tyson Fury (21-0, 15 KO’s) in a little over 1 week on September 28th in the UK.

Haye doesn’t see Fury lasting more than 2 rounds in this fight, and it looks like a lot of boxing fans are in agreement with that. But a rematch with Wladimir might still be a pipe dream for Haye because this is only his 2nd fight since he was embarrassed by Wladimir in losing by a lopsided 12 round decision to him in July of 2011.

Haye v Fury: Will David retire if he loses to Tyson?

haye4343By Stevie Ocallaghan: On Saturday 28th of September, David Haye takes on unbeaten contender in Tyson Fury. It’s an intriguing contest but a contest that I can only see one winner and that is David Haye.

Haye’s style, his speed, power and aggressiveness will pose too many problems for the huge, but limited heavyweight Fury.

If training camps and sparring partners are anything to go by then Haye again comes out on top. Haye has been heaping praise on his sparring partners, saying all would beat Fury. He is probably right.

Haye thinks ALL of his sparring partners would beat Tyson Fury

wilder093By Scott Gilfoid: David Haye (26-2, 24 KO’s) thinks everyone of his murderer’s row of sparring partners would defeat his September 28th opponent Tyson Fury (21-0, 15 KO’s) if given the chance to fight the 6’9″, weak-punching fighter. Haye’s sparring partners in his training camp are as follows: Deontay Wilder, Mariusz Wach, Alexander Dimitrenko and Richard Towers.

Haye seems to lather on the praise something thick for the talentd 6’7″ Deontay, saying that he believes Deontay would stop Fury with a single power shot to the head. I happen to agree with Haye 100% in that belief.

Haye to take advantage of Fury’s poor footwork

haye7By Sam Jaegerson: On September 28th the eagerly anticipated heavyweight showdown between WBO #3 David Haye and WBO #5 Tyson Fury takes place at the Manchester Arena. This is the most anticipated Heavyweight showdown on British shores since David Haye stopped Dereck Chisora in a very entertaining fight last summer. Firstly I would like to credit Tyson Fury for taking this fight. There are many unnamed up and coming Heavyweights currently plying their trade who wouldn’t dare take such a risk. Sadly for Tyson I believe this is a risk that won’t pay off.

Looking at David Haye’s record it is hugely impressive. A former unified Cruiserweight Champion and a former WBA Heavyweight Champion it is easy to see why the bookmakers are making him the heavy favorite. But what makes David Haye such a heavy favorite, after all this is Heavyweight boxing where anything can happen, just ask Lennox Lewis, Mike Tyson and Wladimir Klitschko who all suffered shock KO defeats in their illustrious careers. You must also acknowledge he is going against a fighter who has stopped 15 of his 21 opponents.

Haye: Fury’s making a mistake if he tries to use his size to beat me

fury5558By Scott Gilfoid: David Haye (26-2, 24 KO’s) will likely be giving up at least 30 pounds in weight against the 6’9″ Tyson Fury, and another 7 inches in height when they fight each other this month on September 28th at the Manchester Arena in the UK. Haye doesn’t seem to mind that he’s facing a guy much bigger than him, because he feels that Fury is someone just begging to be knocked out with his straight up style of fighting and his bad habit of slugging it out with his opponents.

Perhaps the major reason why Fury tends to slug it out so much with his opponents is because he hasn’t faced a real big puncher yet in his career like Deontay Wilder. When you’re fighting a bunch of domestic/Euro level stiffs that can’t punch their way out of a wet paper bag, of course you’re going to develop habits of slugging it out.

Tyson Fury back in UK from Belgium training camp

By Scott Gilfoid: The big 6’9” heavyweight Tyson Fury (21-0, 15 KO’s) is back in Britain from his Belgium training camp and ready for the final push for his September 28th make or break fight against David Haye (26-2, 24 KO’s) at the Manchester Arena, according to the Daily Mail.

Haye: I’m going to kick Fury’s backside from pillar to post

fury1By Scott Gilfoid: Former WBA heavyweight champion David Haye (26-2, 24 KO’s) says he doesn’t care if his opponent Tyson Fury (21-0, 15 KO’s) were able to kick and use knees against him in their fight on September 28th, because Haye thinks it’s about the only way the light-hitting, slapping Fury would have any chance of making their fight competitive.

As things are right now, it’s a hopeless mismatch between a teacher and a pupil. About the only good thing about this mismatch is that it’ll likely be over quickly with Fury getting put out of his misery early in the fight by Haye.

Fury hoping his dad will see him fight David Haye on September 28th

fury555By Scott Gilfoid: Undefeated heavyweight contender Tyson Fury (21-0, 15 KO’s) is badly hoping that his father John Fury will be able to be released from prison to sit at ringside for Fury’s important fight this month against former WBA heavyweight champion David Haye (26-2, 24 KO’s) at the Manchester Arena in the UK. His father was given an 11-year prison sentence for gauging another man’s eye out during a fight.

Tyson Fury says that his dad is already being given time off from prison each month, and he’s hoping that one of those days will be on September 28th so that he’ll be there for the Haye fight.

Deontay Wilder and Mariusz Wach join David Haye in UK for sparring

wach67By Scott Gilfoid: American heavyweight Deontay Wilder and Polish heavyweight Mariusz Wach have joined David Haye (26-2, 24 KO’s) in the UK to start assisting him with sparring for a couple of weeks for his September 28th fight against big 6’9” Tyson Fury (21-0, 15 KO’s) at the Manchester Arena in the UK.

Haye has already been sparring with Alexander Dimitrenko and Richard Towers, but now Haye is getting a big upgrade in the power department with Deontay and Wach.

Haye says he wants to conquer the styles of these fighters so that he can be ready for Fury, but I don’t think he’s going to have much luck conquering Deontay’s fighting style;
