One month to go – Klitschko vs. Fury heats up in London

By Ian Aldous: On October 24th, Tyson Fury (24-0) will travel to Germany to challenge Wladimir ‘Dr Steelhammer’ Klitschko (64-3) for his WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO world heavyweight titles at the Esprit arena in Dusseldorf. The best of British will endeavor to become the new heir to the Klitschko-dominated heavyweight throne.

The fight headlines a six-hour Sky Sports Box Office broadcast which will include Kell Brook’s defence of his world welterweight title. Today, I was at the London leg of the press tour for a hugely entertaining press conference.

By Scott Gilfoid: After watching British challenger Tyson Fury (24-0, 18 KOs) make a clown of himself at today’s press conference in London, England, IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (64-3, 53 KOs) came away from the experience thinking that the 27-year-old Fury is an insecure person who is trying to cover it up by talking his head off by saying this or that.

Klitschko says he’s going to heal Fury of his mental problems when he gets him inside the ring on October 24th at the ESPRIT Arena in Dusseldorf, Germany. Wladimir figures that the beating that he dishes out to the 6’9” Fury will ultimately make him a better person and will clear his head up.

By Scott Gilfoid: Tyson Fury’s insane antics at today’s press conference in London were designed to try and rattle the 39-year-old Wladimir Klitschko enough for Fury to get an edge against him for their fight next month on October 24th at the ESPRIT Arena in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Fury, 27, attempted to intimidate the 6’6” Klitschko today by standing up and acting like he was getting ready to throw down by taking off his jacket. Wladimir looked totally unafraid like he meant business when Fury took off his jacket.

Fury jogged around the media twice before finally going back changing into a suit.

Fury just doesn’t have the punching power, the chin, the conditioning for the experience to get the job done in the minds of the fans.

Fury thinks that Klitschko’s best win of his career was against Britain’s David Haye in 2011. Fury doesn’t think much of that win because he doesn’t seem to rate Haye after he failed to make it out of two training camps for their previously scheduled fights in 2013.
