John Fury, the father of undefeated Tyson Fury (24-0, 18 KOs), believes that IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (64-3, 53 KOs) will be reduced to tears next Wednesday during the press conference.

John and Tyson Fury both expect to lash Klitschko verbally by giving the 6’6” heavyweight a piece of their minds to put him in his place once and for all. John figures that Klitschko will be so mentally damaged from the tongue lashing he’s going to give him that it’s going to mess him up mentally for the next six months.

I’m not sure if that’s realistic though because he might not understand what John is saying. I mean, I can barely understand every fourth word he says from his gravelly throat and with his heavily accented English. If I can’t understand half of what John yapping about then I doubt Klitschko will understand him either unless there’s an interpreter there that can break down what John is blabbing about.

“Klitschko is going to be verbally shattered in this press conference,” John Fury said via IFL TV. “He’s going to be in tears. I’m going to be there so he’s going to get both barrels. I’m going to cripple him. It’s going to take six months to get his head back after this press conference to train for a fight. He may be a world champion with gloves on but he’s going to get KO’d with words properly. Tearful words, much paralyzing words. He says ‘I’m going to be a therapist.’ What’s that about?”

I think both John and Tyson worked up a lather around their mouths over the 39-year-old Wladimir saying he’s going to give Fury therapy when he gets him inside the ring on October 24th. Wladimir says he wants to make Fury a better person afterwards, and he believes the beating he’s going to give the 6’9” Fury will get his mind straight to achieve that goal.

In other words, I think Wladimir wants to knock some of the cockiness out of Fury’s system so that he’s not bragging about himself so much. The 24 wins Fury has chocked up during his 7-year pro career seems to have planted some ideas into his head to give him the belief that he’s better than he actually is.

All Wladimir wants to do is bring Fury back down to earth so that his feet are touching the ground firmly, and he realizes what he is in terms of a fighter. Wladimir just wants to give Fury a nice old fashioned beating and give him a pizza face so that he’ll be less inclined to start flapping his gums the next time he gets the idea to fight someone else.

This might be it for Fury, because he’s been moaning about how he’s going to retire if he loses. Well, since the odds are in Wladimir’s favor to win this fight quite handily in the minds of many boxing fans, Fury might want to start planning his retirement years out now. Hopefully he’s not one of those guys that wants to go hide in a cave or some cabin out in the wilderness to escape human civilization if/when he loses to Klitschko.

“He believes he’s going to jab me open,” Tyson Fury said. “Beat me open and afterwards they’re going to have to become a better person. I can understand what he’s saying. He’s going to give me a boxing lesson first. He’s either going to knock me out or beat me heavily on points, and afterwards I’ll be a better person. I think that’s where he’s coming from. I can’t tell you what mood I’ll be in tomorrow. When was the last time we had a challenger challenging a super champion with a good chance of winning?”

I think it’s academic that Wladimir is going to be looking to jab Fury’s head to pieces and give him a boxing lesson on October 24th. But I think it goes well past that though. I think Wladimir is going to score a quick knockout if the 27-year-old Fury bum rushes him like he normally does all of his opponents.

If Fury fights like that, he’s going to get nailed with a straight right hand and left hook and planted on his backside on the canvas. Fury likes to come in low in a crouching position when he attacks his opponents. He likes to lead with his head during his attacks, and he’s going to be right there for Wladimir to nail him with a chopping right hand straight down the pike.

“All we’re doing in this camp is shining the diamond [Tyson Fury] so it goes in the showroom window,” Peter Fury said.

This is kind of funny how Peter is describing Fury like he’s a diamond. I think he’s going to a bit overboard here. I don’t know if I would describe Fury like he’s a gem. We don’t even know if he’s any good because he’s fought only 2nd and 3rd tier fighters thus far. I don’t rate Dereck Chisora, his win over him was no big deal at all. I think Christian Hammer and Steve Cunningham should be ranked in the 2nd tier as well. Sadly, those are the best fighters Fury has fought during his career.

“He doesn’t want to get anyone excited. It’s like watching paint dry,” Tyson Fury said. “So I’ll have to bring the show and bring the action. I have to bring everything. Everybody wants me to play the [expletive. They don’t want to do it because they don’t have the bollocks to do it. He don’t like that type of behavior. Just get the Gypo to do it. I’m that daft. I’ll do it because I don’t care. So that’s what you’re dealing with. You’re dealing with an idiot. But sometimes and idiot can do some stupid things and cause an upset. I’m only an idiot so don’t take me seriously. I make up my own words,” Fury said.

“If I don’t speak you’ll probably have the [expletive] press conference in history,” Tyson said about next Wednesday’s press conference. “Wladimir is a big stiff who has to pre-think all the words he’s going to say. He doesn’t have much to say.”

Wladimir might not be a great talker, but he is intelligent. He has a PhD from his studies in sports medicine in Ukraine. That tells you something. Yeah, he’s not a verbal type like Fury, but he’s smart and a good fighter.
