By Sean McDaniel: Former two division world champion Tomasz Adamek’s time spent at the heavyweight level has seen him mostly matched against weaker, slower and older heavyweights that he pretty much could box circles around without worry of getting hit with anything. He got a world title shot against WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko last September and was badly exposed as being too small in losing by a 10th round TKO.

Adamek, #10 IBF, #10 WBC, picked up a victory in his last fight against Manuel Quezada last month in an impressive performance by Adamek. He staggered Quezada in the 3rd round and dominated most of the fight with his boxing ability and movement.

By Sean McDaniel: Former two division world champion Tomasz Adamek (44-2, 28 KO’s) appears to be reacting negatively to his 10th round TKO loss to WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko from last September by gaining weight up to 225lbs to fight Nagy Aguilera (17-6, 12 KO’s) on March 24th at the Aviator Sports Complex, in Brooklyn, New York, United States. The 35-year-old Adamek is gaining from 216lbs to 225lbs with the belief that he’ll have more power to compete with the giant heavyweights.
