For the 27-year-old Bradley, this is the first part of his work to proving he’s the best fighter in the division. This was supposed to have been a unification bout but Bradley wasn’t interested in paying the sanctioning fees for the WBC title, so if he beats Alexander, the WBC title will go vacant but it won’t go to Bradley. It seems that Bradley doesn’t care about winning one more title because it would likely slow him down by forcing him to fight uninteresting contenders from time to time.
