“2 Days” is a revealing and intimate look at a 48-hour span in the life of a boxer in the lead-up to one of his fights and the next edition will focus on super middleweight champ Andre Ward. Quillin vs. Rosado this Saturday on Showtime in Atlantic City, New Jersey

Provodnikov defeats Alvarado, captures WBO 140 lb. title

In a classic bout that lived up to it’s billing, Ruslan Provodnikov won the WBO Jr. Welterweight championship when Mike Alvarado did not continue after round ten of a scheduled twelve round bout at the before 7.012 fans at a soldout 1stBank Arena.

The fight was promoted by Top Rank and Banner Promotions.

The two slugged it out from the opening bell with Provodnikov rocking Alvarado in round one. The two fought at a fast pace and traded vicious shots which thrilled the crowd for every second of the fight.

Austin Trout getting ready for Lara bout

Austin Trout has landed today in Houston, TX to begin training for his fight against Erislandy Lara.

Trout vs Lara will be the undercard of the Zab Judah vs Paulie Malignaggi fight on Dec 7th. Austin is looking to get back on the winning track after losing a decision to Saul Canelo Alvarez earlier this year in San Antonio, TX.

Austin is originally from El Paso, TX but now resides in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
