Hall Of Fame Boxing Promotion is bringing World Boxing Federation championship boxing to Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania on Friday August 30, as two WBF title fights will headline a big show at the traditional Diamond Jubilee Hall. The event has been dubbed “Title Night In Tanzania”.

Martin Murray hoping to fight Darren Barker next

MARTIN MURRAY believes a clash between him and Darren Barker would be one for the ages.

Barker won the IBF middleweight title at the weekend with a bruising 12 round decision over Daniel Geale.

And in the days since, the Barnet man has mentioned Murray as a potential opponent for first defence.

Liakhovich files protest about KO loss to Deontay Wilder

SCOTTSDALE, Arizona (August 15, 2013) – Former World Boxing Organization (“WBO”) Heavyweight Champion Sergei “The White Wolf” Liakhovich is filing a formal protest, regarding the final outcome of his fight last Friday night against undefeated Deontay Wilder, due to illegal punches that led to him being knocked out at 1:43 of the first round at Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, California.

Liakhovich’s advisor, Attorney Anthony Cardinale, is preparing the formal protest to file with the California State athletic Commission, seeking the outcome be ruled a “no contest.”
