Peterson agreeable to fighting Khan in England
By Dan Ambrose: IBF/WBA light welterweight champion Lamont Peterson (30-1-1, 15 KO’s) is reportedly agreeable to traveling to Amir Khan’s home country of England to give him a rematch in front of his own British fans if the contract is right. Peterson beat Khan by a 12 round decision last Saturday night in Washington, DC, the home city of Peterson. Now Peterson is willing to return the favor to Khan.
Should Khan be allowed to foul without being penalized?
(Khan seen here about to shove Peterson hard using his forearm) By Scott Gilfoid: To listen to Amir Khan’s loving boxing fans bellyache today about his close 12 round split decision loss last night against Lamont Peterson, it’s quite sad. It doesn’t register with Khan’s loyal fans that he deserved to be penalized twice for shoving the heck out of Peterson when he on the attack and trying to win the fight.
Golden Boy making a mistake if they allow Khan to fight Peterson again
By William Mackay: I think Golden Boy Promotions could be putting Amir Khan’s once promising career in terrible jeopardy by allowing him to fight Lamont Peterson again after Khan’s loss last night to the Washington, DC based fighter. Khan was beaten by a 12 round split decision and struggled with Peterson’s body attack and inside game.
Peterson: Khan should have lost points for pulling my head down all night
Khan: I was the much cleaner fighter
By William Mackay: If you wanted a good laugh last night it came when former IBF/WBA light welterweight champion Amir Khan (26-2, 1 KO’s) was being interviewed by HBO’s analyst Larry Merchant after Khan’s 12 round split decision loss to Lamont Peterson, in which Khan claimed that he was the more cleaner fighter on the night compared to Peterson. How Khan could have told Merchant this with a straight face is beyond me.

Where next for Lamont Peterson?
Will Khan still move up to welterweight now to pester Mayweather for a fight?
By Scott Gilfoid: I almost died laughing at how inept Amir Khan (26-2, 18 KO’s) looked tonight in getting beaten up and put on the run by Lamont Peterson (30-1-1, 15 KO’s) in losing a 12 round split decision in Washington, DC. Khan couldn’t handle the pressure, and resorted to his usual fouling tricks to try and save his hide.
