Instead of moving up to the welterweight division now after his loss to Lamont Peterson last weekend, Khan will be facing Peterson in a rematch in what Khan hopes will take place on March 31st at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, Khan wants to move up in weight after the rematch.

Khan lost two points in that fight and he, his promoters from Golden Boy Promotions, and Khan’s many boxing fans, felt that that the referee was in the wrong for penalizing him twice for pushing Peterson to keep him off.

Khan was beaten by Peterson by a 12 round split decision last night in Washington, DC, and Khan believes he deserve to win the fight.
