Some fans were hoping that the 24-year-old Garcia would agree to fight Khan in a rematch in December and put him out of his misery once and for all.

Instead, the 24-year-old Garcia will be fighting a rematch against the soon to be 36-year-old Erik Morales (52-8, 36 KO’s) on October 20th at the Barclays Center, in Brooklyn, New York. Also on the card will be WBA World welterweight champion Paulie Malignaggi against an opponent still to be named, and unbeaten middleweight contender Peter Quillin vs. TBA.

Only 3,147 tickets were sold in grand total, and 3,364 tickets were given away by the Mandalay Bay Resorts & Casino where the fight took place. In other words, more than half of the people who showed up to watch the fight were fans who had tickets given to them.
