By Scott Gilfoid: WBC lightweight champion Adrien Broner (25-0, 21 KO’s) will be fighting on the May 4th undercard fight of unbeaten WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. Neither Broner nor Mayweather have opponents picked out for their fights, but it’s been reported that Mayweather could be facing WBC interim welterweight champion Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero.
Broner’s opponent isn’t known, but his promoters at Golden Boy Promotions will likely try and match him up against WBO lightweight champion Ricky Burns, if they can get him to agree to take the fight.
