Pacquiao vs. Rios – A taylor made fight for Pac

pac6767 Firstly, I respect Brandon Rios (31-1-1, 23 KO’s). He is a great fighter who packs a punch and is durable, and I know Manny Pacquiao (54-5-2, 38 KO’s) is coming off not one but two big loses. But here is my thinking behind their fight on November 23rd in Macao, China: We cannot just dismiss Pacquiao like many boxing fans have just because he has lost his last fights.

Stuff happens in boxing. Why not look at what Pacquiao has done in the sport and get excited too see if this will be his big come back. I mean, look what Pac has done to some of the best fighters in the world before.

Who should Mayweather fight next?

There has been a lot of talk recently about May 4th and who Floyd “Money” Mayweather (43-0, 26 KO’s) will be fighting, and before you say it I know there has been a lot of articles posted on boxingnews24 about this matter but I’m just throwing my view in the mix as a boxing fan.

So, as far as who he should fight next and who there is to fight, it’s a pretty talent rich division but Robert Guerrero has been the name on everybody’s lips, along with Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and even Tim Bradley. As far as who deserves the shot, I got to go with Guerrero; he’s come off some good wins against top fighters lately, and seems to have put himself in the position to earn a shot.

Prediction: Fury will to lose to Johnson on Saturday

I don’t know about anyone else but, I think Kevin Johnson (28-2-1, 13 KO’s) will pose a a real threat for unbeaten heavyweight Tyson Fury (19-0, 14 KO’s) on Saturday night at the Belfast arena in Northern Ireland. Although Fury has ran threw all of his opponents to date, he has yet to fight someone at real world level apart from (Derrick Chisora ) which in it’s self was questionable fight, Johnson has a great left hand and seems to have knockout power from what I have seen.

Even though I would not put Johnson at near the top of the heavyweight pile, I would not put Fury there either. Fury does not excite me as a fighter nor do I think he has what it takes to adopt a heavyweight world title.
