By Vince D’Writer: Floyd “Money” Mayweather routinely talks the talk, and now he’s walking the walk, as the former five-division world champion has stepped up to help those impacted by the terror attacks by arranging to send his private jet “Air Mayweather” to Israel.
Two days ago, Mayweather joined a host of celebrities as he condemned the actions of the Hamas. On his Instagram page, Mayweather posted a throwback photo of his previous visit to Jerusalem with the caption, “I stand with Israel against the Hamas terrorists.”
Mayweather went on to state, “Hamas do not represent the people of Palestine, but are a terrorist group that are attacking innocent lives! I stand for all humans and wish for the safe return of all Americans and Israelis and any human that were kidnapped as hostages during this horrific war crimes.”
In his Instagram post, Mayweather went on to add, “This is not a time for politics. This is a time for safety, first and foremost. God Bless America. God Bless Israel. God Bless humankind.”
Four days ago, Hamas launched a massive military attack into Israeli territory that included the shooting of thousands of rockets, followed by an attack by land, air, and sea. Hamas, a group that has been designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S. Government, has controlled the Gaza Strip since 2007.
The heartless, highly coordinated terror attack has claimed more than 1,200 lives in Israel. Nine hundred of those casualties occurred in the strip. The death toll includes at least twenty-two Americans.
In his most recent Instagram post, Floyd Mayweather posted a fist in the colors of the Israeli flag with the statement, “I stand with Israel and Jews all around the world. I condemn antisemitism at all cost. I stand for Peace. I stand for Human Rights. Terrorism Is Never The Answer.”
In addition to stating his support for the cause, the 46-year-old Hall of Fame boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr is preparing to send his private jet filled with supplies such as food, water, and bulletproof vests for the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) soldiers.
The men with the task of piloting the private plane for this mission are Mayweather’s pilots, AJ Ramey, Chris Javier, Sam Kniskern, and Freeman Blakney.
Two months ago, Mayweather helped 70 families impacted by the Maui wildfires. He paid for flights, a place to stay, food to eat, and clothing to wear. Once again, in the midst of another unfortunate tragedy, Mayweather is stepping up and showing how he is a true champion both in and outside of the ring.
