By Allan Fox: Rapper Rick Ross is picking Terence Crawford to defeat Errol Spence this Saturday, predicting that ‘The Truth’ is “Going down” in their welterweight undisputed contest on July 29th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
It’s unclear if Ross picks Crawford (39-0, 30 KOs) because he likes him or if he really believes he can beat Spence (28-0, 22 KOs).
Can Terence hang in for twelve rounds?
Spence looks like a real killer right now, and this could end badly if ‘Bud’ Crawford is still there in the late rounds. We saw what happened to Shawn Porter & Yordenis Ugas when they went the 12-round distance with Spence.
Porter was never the same, and Ugas hasn’t fought ever since after suffering broken ribs and a fractured orbital bone.
WBO 147-lb champion Crawford has his work cut out for him because he’s been facing lesser opposition his entire 15-year career, thanks to the careful match-making that’s been done.
Spence questions how long Crawford will be able to hang in there with him pounding the stuffing out of him round after round. Terence’s trainer Brian ‘BoMac’ McIntyre, may be forced to throw the towel in the ring if it gets out of hand, with Crawford getting worked by Spence.
“Terence Crawford vs. Errol Spence, who are you putting your money on? This is the biggest fight you low-lifes have seen in a long time,” said rapper Rick Ross @officialbelaire about the Spence-Crawford fight this Saturday.
“Y’all already know Terence Crawford; what y’all want to do? TC, that’s my guy. This is the biggest fight you’ve seen in your whole life. Errol Spence, you going down. T-Bud, Terence Crawford, Rick Rose, it’s going down.”

“He’s going to try to do it just to play mind games. That’s the type of fighter he is. If you don’t let that play in, then you’re going to do your thing,” said Spence to Hotboxin‘ with Mike Tyson about Crawford waving his arms around, trying to throw him off.
“He’s definitely going to fight back, but I don’t know how long it’s going to last,” Spence continued about Crawford.
It’s going to be interesting to see if Crawford comes to fight or if he’ll move around like we’ve seen him do in some of his fights. Saturday’s Spence-Crawford fight has been built up to be a war, but that’s not how Crawford fights.
He’s a low-punch output type of fighter who stays on the outside and pecks away against his opponents.
