Interestingly, Fury’s weight is a whopping 12 lbs lighter than the 277 lbs that he weighed for his last fight against Deontay Wilder last October.

For his part, Whyte weighed 6 lbs heavier at 253 1/4 lbs than the 247 1/4 lbs that he weighed for his rematch last year in March against Alexander Povetkin.

During today’s face-off, Fury -Whyte, smiled, danced, and looked happy. In the end, Whyte reached over and took Fury’s cap from him and put it on. He then gave Fury his own cap, which he put on.

“I’m fighting a bigger guy, a much more heavier guy than me, so I wanted to be [heavier],” said Dillian Whyte to BT Sport Boxing moments after weighing in at 253 1/4 lbs on Friday at the weigh-in.

“I fought at 115 before. Trust me, we’re ready to go to war. Don’t let all this fool you, we’re ready to go to war,” said Whyte when asked about how friendly he and Fury were during the weigh-in, dancing, smiling & hugging one another.

“Let’s wait and see. I’m not worried about what he’s going to do. I’m worried about what I’ve got to do,” said Dillian when asked about his thoughts on the small weight difference between him and the 264.8-lb Fury.

“I train hard, I’m ready, I feel fit, so let’s go,” said Dillian.

“Yes, of course, I’m back,” shouted Fury when asked if his weight was what he was expecting. “What was he, 252? It’s a good weight for him. He’s nice & strong. I’m in great shape at 263. I don’t even know what that is in stones.

“Deontay Wilder and his team and him, they were hostile towards us. Dillian Whyte and his people, were all respectful towards us.  We wanted to build a fight, and now the fight is here and we built it.

“Now, we got to go down to work and have a good fight,” continued Fury. “I said in this camp that I wanted it to be a great camp and enjoyed every minute of it and take it all in with it being my last one.

“We’re about to do it at Wembley Stadium with Dillian Whyte, one of my old training partners. He’d made it big time. I’m happy for him. Listen, we’ve both made millions out of this. We can’t believe it. We’re going to be millionaires tomorrow!

“Eat burgers and drink beer, baby,” said Fury when asked what he plans on doing for the next 24 hours before his fight on Saturday night against Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium.
