By Matt Lieberman: Cruiserweight knockout artist Jake Paul and former UFC champion Tyron Woodley met for a face-off on Thursday for the kick-off press conference for their August boxing fight.

Woodley will be getting a career-high payday against the popular YouTuber Jake. You can argue that Jake Paul is doing Woodley a huge favor by choosing him to fight because if not for him, he wouldn’t get a similar payday anywhere.

Woodley has lost his last four fights in the UFC competition, and it’s clear that he’s done as a combat fighter at the elite level in the octagon.

As of now, Jake vs. Woodley is taking place on August 28th, but that might change because former two-time WBC super middleweight champion David Benavidez is already penciled in for that date against Jose Uzcategui on Showtime.

Once in the ring, Jake & Woodley exchanged nonstop trash-talking during the face-off inside the ring.

Initially, Paul, 24, was getting the better of the verbal exchange, but Woodley took over towards the end when he started talking about Jake looking nervous.

The verbal exchange between Woodley and Paul:

Jake Paul: “You lost your last four. I won four.”

Tyron Woodley: “I’m a world champ, bro. Five times world champ.”

Jake: “Not anymore. You can’t pay rent with those belts.”

Woodley: “Five world titles. What have you done?”

Jake: “What have I done? Disney Gucci. You’re going to get beat by a Disney kid. It’s going to be embarrassing for you.”

Woodley: “You know what’s going to be embarrassing? Me standing over you after I beat your a**.”

Jake Paul: “What have I done? I’ve given you the biggest of your life. You were broke. You lost four fights. You’re 40-years-old.”

Woodley: “Yeah, but guess what? You’re getting knocked out. You’re shaking too. You’re shaking. I like when I get in front, and I smell b*tch.”

Jake: “Well, I smell bad f*cking breath.”

Woodley: “You been in a COVID mask all night.”

Jake: “You don’t know about those boxing gloves, though.”

Woodley: “What do you know about? You fought three times in your life. I’ve been fighting since I was this tall. I’ve had 30 fights in the streets since you were on Disney. I was knocking people out on the streets when you were on Disney. Now I do it professionally; now, I’m going to do it on a speed bag. Where’s the speed bags in the gym because that’s what he is, a speed bag. One round, you’re down.”

Jake: “Remember when I knocked out your friend? [Ben Askren]. You were coaching your best friend. What are you going to do differently?”

Woodley: “Don’t b*tch out. Everybody here, Showtime added a ‘No b*tch-out clause’ for this dude because once you start seeing me straining and grinding, you’re going to go b*tch. You’re going to fake an injury.”

Jake: “You lost four fights in a row. You’re 39-years-old.”

Woodley: “They were the best in the world. I’ve won five world titles, three-year reign.”

Jake: “I’m faster, younger, stronger. You’re going down in one round just like your best friend. If you’re so confident, if you win, I’ll double your purse. But if you lose, we’ll donate your purse to my charity.

Woodley: “I’ll beat your a**.”
