Fury said this about Price: “I’m going to do you some personal harm.”

Price said this about Fury’s anger at Sky Sports News: “He [Fury] cannot handle other people getting praise and credit. That’s why he…made an absolute fool of himself…It must be a case of jealousy or something.”

Price finds it odd that Fury is just now talking about wanting to fight him after turning down the fight earlier this year when it was offered to him. Now that both fighters are fighting for different television broadcasters it’s almost impossible for it to be made.

Last night, Price defeated Audley Harrison by a 1st round knockout at the Echo Arena, in Liverpool. That was the quickest that Harrison has ever been knocked out before and Price is getting a lot of praise from boxing fans and the media for making it look so easy.

Price is now scheduled to fight Matt Skelton on December 8th, and that’s going to be his main focus, he says, and now Fury making comments in the media about wanting to fight him.

Fury didn’t do himself any favors by turning down the fight with Price earlier this year, because it gave the perception to some that he was afraid of fighting Price. What made things worse for Fury was that he gave up his British and Commonwealth heavyweight titles just so he wouldn’t have to fight Price. That move looked like of bad and it’s not surprising that boxing fans think that Fury was afraid of fighting Price.

Price’s promoter Frank Maloney offered a half million pounds last night for Fury to step up and take the fight with Price next. Maloney also told Fury to stop “Being a coward twitting on twitter that he wants the fight.”

Fury said this on his twitter: “I hope team Price can get the money together. I’ll be calling in the morning just so everyone knows.”

Tyson Fury’s trainer/uncle Peter Fury said this about Maloney on his twitter: “Frank Maloney, you called my nephew a coward. You’re calling his family the same. Can’t wait to come face to face with you!”

Price told Sky Sports that he thinks Tyson Fury needs “Anger management” to deal with his temper.
