Are the Klitschko brothers unbeatable?

Image: Are the Klitschko brothers unbeatable?By Alex Prodromou: Everybody thinks that you need someone who is a fighter with Mike Tyson’s style to beat a Klitschko. That is partly but not 100% true. Being a pressure fighter will help, but you need someone who just has better footwork than a Klitschko brother. This is the problem as no one current heavyweight has better footwork than a Klitschko.

The only fighter that even comes close is David Haye and you saw what Wladimir did to him In my opinion the only fighter that could out box a prime Vitali or a prime Wladimir is a prime Mike Tyson. This is because of his high pressure style but this is also because of his footwork. He is one of the only Heavyweights that could keep up with the Klitschko brothers. He is also one of the only fighters ever that could do this without stretching or leaning to much in order to land a punch. He is also the only ever fighter that would chase Wladimir or Vitali around the ring while keeping 100% balance. This is why he would KO a prime Wladimir inside five rounds. He would probably KO him by jabbing to Wladimir’s long tall body, and then by landing a right hook over the top.

I think he would have more trouble with Vitali as he throws more punches. Despite this I still think he would beat Vitali but not dominate him. I think he would cut Vitali open like Lewis did, I also think that the fight would be stopped around the 9th on cuts. In my opinion Mike Tyson is the only fighter that could out box both Klitschko’s. Joe Frazier would also beat the Klitschko’s but not completely dominate them like Tyson would.

Haye’s excuse in losing to Wladimir was funny but unless you actually box, people don’t understand how a hurt toe can throw your footwork, timing and balance off. Especially when it’s your little toe, it can really affect your balance. It was this that threw David’s footwork, timing and balance off and as you know all these three things have got to be perfect when fighting a Klitschko. I think if Haye didn’t have this injury he would have KO’d Wladimir. But I don’t think he would have out boxed Wladimir unless he adopted a style like Tyson’s.
