Image: Kell Brook ready to prove he’s one of the best welterweights as he steps in against SaldiviaBy Marcus Stewart: The clearly talented Kell Brook will be facing Hector Saldivia in October that’ll be able to give him a title shot against the winner of the Randall Bailey Vs Devon Alexander fight. It’s an opportunity that Brook has definitely deserved and I’m sure he’ll put on another great show to make sure that he goes another step closer to becoming the welterweight champion of the world.

He showed true heart determination skill and courage to overcome the one dimensional Carson Jones. Kell Brook landed the cleaner shots and Jones was simply trying to out muscle the talented Brit from the off. Kell Brook proved a lot in his last fight and showed to the world that he is without a doubt a force to be reckoned with.

His fight against Saldivia will be a tricky fight yet he should win this fight by stoppage and it wouldn’t surprise me if he won this fight early. He’s a lot faster and stronger than Saldivia and now that he’s getting proper conditioning work done for him then that means that he’ll be even stronger at the weight for the fight and for fights in the future.

The Devon Alexander Vs Randall Bailey fight is between two over hyped American boxers who claim to be legit at 147. Well I’m sure Brook will be able to end that hype as I’m confident that Brook could easily take out the one dimensional Bailey and the generally overrated Alexander who is never willing to get hit. The best welterweights deserve to be world champions. Devon Alexander and Randall Bailey don’t deserve to be world champions, however the gifted fighter that is Kell Brook does and I believe that he’ll take the welterweight division by storm and comfortably deal with Saldivia and then completely destroy either Devon Alexander or Randall Bailey who in my eyes don’t deserve to be in the top 10 list of the best welterweights in the world right now.
