By Marcus Stewart: Legendary British fighter Ricky Hatton is back and is back with a vengeance. He’s ready to get back onto the world stage in the welterweight division and relight boxing’s fire which has been dimmed quite a lot with the introduction of overrated fighters such as Adrien Broner and Devon Alexander who have been seriously over hyped yet have proved nothing in their careers. Ricky Hatton is ready to go for the big fights once again and a fight against Michael Katsidis looks likely for Hatton’s comeback fight in November.

Ricky Hatton showed throughout his career that he could match it with top opposition such as Jose Luis Castillo and Kostya Tszyu. Ricky Hatton is an international legend without question. I’m 100% sure that if a fight does happen with Hatton and Katsidis then Hatton will win comfortably. He’s quicker stronger and more technically gifted than the Australian.

I’m very confident that once Hatton has dealt with Katsidis then he’ll move onto other fighters such as Adrien Broner and I’m convinced that Hatton would destroy Broner, considering the fact that Broner is a more easy target to hit than people think and he’s fought nothing more than fighters that are over the hill, he hasn’t fought anyone with the velocity and skill that the Hitman has.

Ricky Hatton is going to show the world of boxing just how much they’ve missed him. A fight against Katsidis will be a nice warm up but then the bigger fights against the likes of Devon Alexander and the overrated Timothy Bradley will allow the legendary Brit to showcase his talent and show just how much better he is than the likes of Broner, Alexander and Bradley. They’ve all had their records massaged whilst Hatton has done it the hard way and fought the best time and time again.
