Image: David Price vs. Audley Harrison: One of these giant heavyweights will be KO'd on October 13thBy Scott Gilfoid: I honestly know which fighter to pick from in the October 13th fight between Audley Harrison (28-5, 21 KO’s) and British heavyweight champion David Price (13-0, 11 KO’s) in their Britain based fight at the Echo Arena, Liverpool, Merseyside, United Kingdom. To begin with, this is a terrible match-up.

The 29-year-old Price seems to be stuck in the B level land and unable to get out of it for some reason and he’s aging quick. Soon Price will be 30, and probably still religiously fighting the same B level fighters that he’s been fighting for the past year.

Price’s promoter must have been wanting to guarantee that there wouldn’t be any mishaps in Price’s next by choosing the 40-year-old Harrison, who’s career really never did pan out like many though it would after he capture the Olympic super heavyweight gold medal for Britain in the 2000 Olympics. Harrison never beat anyone good in his pro career and is sadly still fight and losing whenever he faces quality opposition.

As fragile as Price’s chin is, Harrison can win this fight if he would just let his hands go and throw shots with all his might. The stiff and completely robotic Price is there to be knocked out if Harrison would just let his hands go. But I don’t think he will. Harrison is a knockout waiting to happen in this fight, but so is Price. It’s like whoever throws the first big punch to the jab is probably going to win this fight.

Price will probably get the win not because he’s got more talent than Harrison, but rather he’ll be more willing to use the power that he has to get the victory. Harrison will hold onto his shots like a miser, and that’s going to make it incredibly easy for Price to score a quick knockout in this fight.
