Image: How to beat Floyd MayweatherBy Dominic Sauboorah: This amazing athlete is driving the sport of boxing. He isn’t just a tremendous fighter, but he’s a genuine icon for people all over the world. He is someone to be admired for the work he’s done in his career and for the mentality and belief he’s kept with him throughout his life.

A cocky bravado might speak many words of someone, but if that cockiness is backed up then a negative image is then found very hard to create. Floyd Mayweather. A man that talks the talk and walks the walk. He is without a doubt a legend and easily one of the best fighters this world has ever embraced.

He is unbeatable. No one will ever beat him. This isn’t based on his way of fighting or his solid physique. His mentality stands head and shoulders firmly above all of that. Floyd was quoted as saying to Sky Sports during the pre-fight hype for his May 1st bout against Shane Mosley two years ago “you take the good with the good, you take the bad with the bad, you’ve just got to keep going, keep striving, keep working hard, be smart, be intelligent and do what you do best.” He’s a realistic person that finds himself striving for the most optimistic of goals.

There’s a fine line between being talented and god gifted. There’s a fine line between trying to be the best and simply being the best. There’s a fine line between being cocky and having belief. Floyd Mayweather might show a lot of bravado and he might talk a lot of trash, but at the end of the day he’s still proving the doubters wrong. 43 and 0. He’s beaten the best, because he’s the best. Fighters may be stronger than him, quicker than him and tougher than him, however Floyd Mayweather is a natural born winner. He was born to strive in life. To embrace the good with the bad. To accept everything that comes his way. To believe that impossible is nothing. He will go down in the history books as an all time great. Why? Because he believed.
