However, Harrison will go about do the shocking is the big question, because even under the best of performances from Harrison, few boxing fans will likely care about a win over an obscure 2nd tier heavyweight like Adams.

Harrison told thisistotalessex.co.uk “My only prediction is I’m going to win, and I’m going to shock a few people by turning back the clock and looking good. Don’t judge me from the David Haye fight. I took the fight with a major injury to my right pec, and I thought I could be superman and knock David out with one arm.”

The injury doesn’t explain why Harrison didn’t at least try to hit Haye with that one good arm instead of standing frozen for three rounds, looking very afraid. Harrison was unable to pull the trigger with his shots and seemed to be afraid of being countered by Haye. In hindsight, Harrison should have at least used his jab to paw away at Haye to keep him at arm’s length, but he didn’t even do that.

Harrison says the fight against Adams will be his last fight of his career whether he wins or loses the fight. Somehow, I can see Harrison continuing with his career, especially if he blows this guy out like he should. Adams isn’t in the same class as Harrison and he should be blown out in this fight. Adams usually starts fast in the 1st round and looks decent for the first three minutes. From there, it’s all hugging and a lot of feints from the outside with very few punches thrown. Harrison win this fight just by sticking to his jab and every once in a while throwing a right hook or left uppercut. He probably won’t even break a sweat.
