Ward would like to have Froch be the one that he faces in the finals of the Super Six tourney so that he can shut Froch’s trap once and for all after Froch lipped off about him. However, Ward is doubtful that Froch has the talent to make it past Johnson.

Ward said “I wouldn’t be surprised if Johnson pulled the upset. The fans want to see Ward and Froch but it is Froch’s job to take care of his business and uphold his end of the bargain and Glen Johnson will have something to say about that on June 4.”

Yes, it will be Froch’s job to try and get to the finals so that he can join the gifted Ward. But Froch is so wide open on defense that it’s not funny. And when you a fighter like Froch and you expose his head for the big powerful right hands from Johnson, bad things are likely to happen. If Froch can try and protect his head he might have a chance in winning. But you know and I know that Froch’s hands are going to be dangling down by his sides come fight time, looking like a couple of overripe bananas. Froch doesn’t have the hand speed to fight with his hands down against the better fighters in the Super Six, and I consider Johnson definitely as one of the better fighters. I rate Johnson below Ward but above Froch in talent.
