By Scott Gilfoid: Just look at how carved up Glen Johnson’s body looked at Friday’s weigh-in. The man’s physique reminds me of something out of Jason and the Argonauts. I think WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch (27-1, 20 Ko’s) is in deep, deep trouble tonight in their huge Super Six tournament fight at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Froch seems like he’s already punched his ticket for the finals against WBA super middleweight champion Andre Ward. I mean think Froch has badly underestimated Johnson and is going to find out up close and personal what a big mistake he’s made. This isn’t some local or European fighter that Froch is tangling with tonight. Johnson is one of the best warriors in the world and has expertize training in toe-to-toe tactics.

Froch has little ability to fight on the inside. We already saw that in his questionable win over Andre Dirrell in 2009. Froch is basically lost when in close. This is where Johnson’s great ability will shine like a bright light and make Froch look like a novice.

But look at Johnson’s physique. He looks like a statue. Johnson isn’t weight drained at all. He looks like he’s in excellent shape and ready to make Froch look bad tonight. This is going to be a great fight, folks. Look for Johnson to school Froch on the inside and turn him into another Allan Green. This is going to be embarrassing. Froch would be best to try and keep the action on the outside so that he doesn’t exposed so badly.
