By Scott Gilfoid: It’s always bad when a fighter overdoes it during training camp. You get a guy that’s just stressing out and he compensates by exercising himself to the bone to calm his nerves. Now look at how skinny WBA heavyweight champion David Haye is starting to look. Notice the absence of fat around the jowls. If this isn’t a guy worrying himself to a nervous wreck than I don’t know what is. Haye looks like he’s been training on bread and water. How useless.

Haye looks to have lost at least 15 pounds of muscle and another 5 lbs of facial flab in getting ready for IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko. He looks too thin. They need to power feed him back up with a steady supply of peanut butter sandwiches before he wastes away completely and leaves whatever he has in the training camp. Judging from that video, I’d say Haye weighs no more than 210 right now if that. That’s too scrawny to beat 247 pound Wladimir. The guy is thinking too much. But this is how goes. A fighter has a smooth ride to the top facing lesser guys and then when he’s finally matched against the best, he shoots himself in the foot by over-training and/or over-dieting and then gets whipped.

Haye’s trainer/manager Adam Booth needs to put some calories into Haye quick because he’s going to get destroyed looking the way he is right now. Wladimir is much too big for this little skinny guy. Haye is starting to look like a cruiserweight again. This is going to be too easy for Wladimir if Haye keeps up at this pace. He’s got three more weeks and I can only imagine how thin Haye will be by then.
