Image: Can the Klitschkos coax Haye into fighting them for a third time after Haye beats them both?By Dave Lahr: WBA heavyweight champion David Haye (25-1, 23 KO’s) is going to finish off both the Klitschko brothers, Wladimir and Vitali Klitschko in the next eight months and find himself staring at retirement having knocked out both of the Klitschko brothers. Haye will then find himself in the enviable position to listen to the pleading of both the Klitschko brothers as they try and coax Haye into giving them one more chance to try beat him.

I wish I could say for sure that Haye would choose to ignore the Ukrainians and finish out his career at that point, but I see the money being too good for Haye in a third fight with the Klitschkos. Haye would have everything in his favor in a third fight. Instead of this nonsense where the Klitschkos are given a 50-50 deal, the lucky brother that gets a fight with Haye will have to settle for something along the lines of 70-30 with the big money tilted in Haye’s favor.

With the winner goes the winner goes the spoils. Haye will deserve the lion share of the purse split and the Klitschkos will just have to take the pain and not complain about having to be happy with their much smaller cut. I’d rather Haye just ignore the pleading of the Klitschkos for a third fight but knowing Haye and his desire to feather his nest before retiring, he’ll likely want to get as much cash as possible before he hangs it up.

A third fight will bring in countless riches for Haye to live the rest of his life like a king. I can’t see Haye resisting the big money, especially with him getting a huge cut in his favor.
