Image: Prediction: El Ouazghari to stop Murray on SaturdayBy Scott Gilfoid: After an in depth analysis of the career of challenger Karim El Ouazhari (11-1-2, 4 KO’s) I have to say that he’s going to shock the UK on Saturday night by knocking out and handing unbeaten EBU lightweight champion John Murray (30-0, 18 KO’s) his first loss of his career when they tangle at the York Hall in Bethnal Green, in London, England.

I almost feel sorry for Murray and for anyone who makes the mistake of betting on the 26-year-old because he’s going to get put down and get put down hard by El Ouazhari. This kid is no joke. He has a left hook that that he can knock you cold with.

El Ouazhari may not have a lot of knockouts on his record but he’s just now coming into his own and learning how to fight. Murray is meeting up with this guy at the wrong time in his career. This is the perfect opponent for El Ouazhari. Murray is a fighter that plods, has terrible defensive ability and just plods forward with his face leading the way like a bike clipper ship on the ocean.

That jaw is just there begging to be imploded by one of El Ouazhari and the Spaniard is going to oblige Murray by taking a big divot out of his jaw and send him down in front of a packed house at Bethnal Green.

Murray is just not finding out about how powerful El Ouazhari’s left hook is and he’s already nervous about him, saying “There is one fight where he flattens the guy with it [the left hook] and me and my trainer Joe Gallagher just looked at each other.”

Yeah, you better look at your trainer, Murray, and see if he can come up with an answer for El Ouazhari’s left hooks because he’s going to knock you out cold on Saturday unless you can come up with a gimmick to save your backside. This is going to be brutal. Murray plods forward, chin thrust outward like an old bumper on a rusting car, and El Ouazhari stops him in his tracks with a crushing left hook to the chin that breaks Murray into a million pieces. It’s going to be a sad day in London on Saturday.
