Fury would like nothing better than to get in the ring with Chisora as soon as possible so that Fury can try to capture his British title. However, with the 27-year-old Chisora booked to fight IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (55-3, 49 KO’s) on April 30th, it means that the 6’9″ Fury won’t get a shot at fighting Chisora for many months, likely not until the summer months or possibly later.

Speaking to thesun.co.uk, Fury said “He’s [Chisora] fighting Klitschko, he’ll have a few months off, then he’ll have to get fight again so it could take it right into next year. But I’ll be ready whenever it happens. he’ll get knocked out by Klitschko and then he can come back and get knocked out by me.”

Chisora will likely get knocked out by Wladimir. That’s a bad match-up for Chisora, who struggled in his last fight against Sam Sexton. Wladimir would make easy work with Sexton, and it’s not good that Chisora had problems with this guy.

Fury has a fight coming up on Saturday night against Marcelo Luiz Nascimento (13-0, 11 KO’s) at the Wembley Arena, in Wembley, London. Fury needs to win this fight and hopefully look good in doing xo.

Fury’s promoter Mick Hennessy isn’t happy that Fury has to wait on Chisora, saying “It’s ridiculous what’s going on. Tyson will have been waiting more than a year for his chance. Chisora won the title against Sam Sexton in October, so his six months’ grace is up next month but he’s got the Klitschko fight on April 30th. We’ve talked nonstop to the [British Boxing] Board but we’re not getting any answers that many any sense.”

Fury needs to wait, stay busy and fight quality fighters until Chisora is available. Besides, Fury would likely only get knocked out anyway. He needs to mature a lot more before he’ll get good enough to beat Chisora. Fury is still much too raw and undisciplined to beat a good fighter like Chisora.
