The hard hitting 26-year-old Chisora is a big underdog in this fight, but he has the power, youth and defensive ability to pull off a huge upset in Wladimir’s own adopted country in front of what will be a packed arena on 12/11.

Wladimir is facing a fighter with the power and the skills of previous Klitschko conquerors Lamon Brewster and Ross Puritty. I actually think Chisora is a better fighter than both of those fighters due to his defensive skills. Chisora is not easy to hit with head shots, because of the Joe Frazier-like head movement he likes to use. Chisora also stays very low and it’s difficult to punch down on him because weaving and coming in at such a low angle. Chisora waste time on the outside against the 6’6″ Wladimir.

He’s going to come in low and once inside, Chisora will pound Wladimir to the head until he falls. Under normal circumstances, Wladimir would grab and clinch someone like Chisora to shut down his attack. However, Chisora won’t be clinched and will punch out of every clinch Wladimir attempts, forcing the big Ukrainian to fight harder than he wants to. That’s the key for Chisora. He has to make Wladimir work hard, because the Ukrainian’s stamina is suspect and his chin becomes weaker as he starts to run out of energy.

Chisora can’t let the 34-year-old Klitschko rest for an instant on the inside, because he likes to rest and lean on his opponents when he’s holding onto them. Chisora can’t let him rest. he’s got to keep the pace fast and furious and take advantage of Wladimir’s mistakes in trying to grab all the time. I see this as a very winnable fight for Chisora, I really do.
