By Daniel Tagg: There are only two candidates that are worth mentioning they are Manny “the Pac Man”Pacquiao (won 51, lost 3 (KO 2), drawn 2 and Floyd “Money” Mayweather won 41, lost 0, drawn 0.

I would like to think that you judge a fighter on who that person has fought, by this process I think I can say who is the best of the two fighters.

Firstly, Manny Pacquiao
Manny has got world titles at 7 different weights, and that is a record that elevates him in the p4p ranking.
Manny pacquiao has fought these world class fighters Gabriel Mira, Medgoen Singsurat, Reynante Jamili, Arnel Barotillo, Seung-Kon Chae, Nedal Hussein, Tetsutora Senrima, Emmanuel Lucero, Wethya Sakmuangklang, Lehlohonolo Ledwaba, Agapito Sanchez, Fahsan 3K Battery, Hector Velazquez, Oscar Larios, Jorge Solis, David Diaz, Ricky Hatton, Miguel Angel Cotto and Joshua Clottey some of these fighters may be borderline world class and Manny has fought these great “legendary” fighters Oscar De La Hoya, Juan Manuel Marquez x2, Marco Antonio Barrera x2, Erik Morales x3.

by looking at these fighters Manny Pacquiao has fought 19 world class fighters and 4 great fighters 8 times.

Secondly Floyd Mayweather

Floyd has got world titles at 5 different weights, the fact he remains undefeated gives him more credability in boxing. Floyd has fought these world class fighters Genaro Hernandez, Carlos Alberto Ramon Rios, Justin Juuko, Carlos Gerena, Gregorio Vargas, Diego Corrales, Carlos Hernandez, Jesus Chavez, Jose Luis Castillo, Victoriano Sosa, Phillip N’dou, DeMarcus Corley, Arturo Gatti, Zab Judah, Carlos Manuel Baldomir, Ricky Hatton, Juan Manuel Marquez and Shane Mosleysome of these fighters are borderline world class and some are fought whent they are not at there best. Floyd has also fough this great fighter Oscar De La Hoya once.

Floyd has fought 19 world class fighters and 1 great fighter.

Who has fought the best opponents so far in there career, i believe it is Manny Pacquiao because he has fought more great fighters who are at there best when he fought them, apart from the third morales fight.

He (Manny) also has fought opponents who have lost less (percentage wise) when he fought them.

Manny has fought a better standard of fighters and has performed better then floyd, each have a k.o % of manny = 67.86 and Foyd 60.98 , Manny has managed to get this higher k.o ratio against a higher standard of opponent gives him the crown of p4p king,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and maybe one of the best welterweight and fighter of all time?
