Haye doesn’t seem to be reacting well to the criticism, as he’s looked uncomfortable and on edge in the meetings with the 38-year-old Harrison. Harrison is totally focused on making the most of his opportunity against Haye and plans on taking his World Boxing Association heavyweight title from him on November 13th in their fight at the M.E.N. Arena, Manchester, Lancashire.

Harrison had this to say in an article at the Manchester Evening News: “Everyone knows I got a lethal left hand and I’m going to use it. They will build him [Haye] up and say he can’t be beaten, but he’s not fighting the Klitschkos. They want to fight him, everyone does because they know he’s the worst of the three heavyweight world champions.”

Ouch! Harrison hitting Haye with some truth. While Haye sees himself as the best of the heavyweight champions, there’s very few boxing fans and virtually zero boxing writers that would agree with Haye. Most of them see Haye as a good fighter, but small, flawed with a weak chin, and lacking in courage. Those ingredients are going to likely stop Haye from ever beating one of the Klitschko brothers.

However, Haye could get tripped up long before he gets to one of teh Klitschkos, if he ever really intend on fighting them, because Harrison has enough power in his left hand to stop Haye just as easily as Wladimir or Vitali Klitschko. If Harrison comes to fight and lets his left hand go with passion, he could take Haye out really quick. It’s not likely given Harrison’s past history, but you can’t dismiss the threat he poses for Haye because of his left hand power and because Harrison is fighting so well as of late.

Harrison says “I can’t look beyond this. I set my target to be world champion. Once I’ve achieved that, I will set new ones.” Harrison sounds really driven to win the world title, much more than ever was before early in his career. Haye could be in real trouble in this fight, because Harrison doesn’t seem the same timid fighter he was earlier in his career when he was struggling. He’s now using the power that he always had. This could be bad news for Haye.
